The hour ticked by as the teacher went through various problems. The rest of the morning passed in about the same fashion and finally, it became lunchtime. I rummaged through my bag and took out my lunch box.

"What happened to your hair, Issei-Senpai?" I was surprised when a group of girls approached my desk.

"Apparently, trauma can turn your hair white." I replied shortly.

"Test me?" They remained quiet. "I am truly ashamed of my past actions, I entangled up with the wrong bunch of people." I smiled at them vaguely, I shamelessly put on the blame on two monkey brothers of Issei.

"For that, I apologize, do you have any other questions?" I glanced sideways, quite the bewildered look I was garnering from my classmates.

"Gender pay gap." Sakie frowned slightly but nonetheless didn't say anything. Topics like those are quite critical nowadays. Miss. Sakie turned her attention to the team leader of Group 6. "Yours?"

"Animal testing should be banned." Group 6 was the first one to present their views on it. The debate continued on for 10 minutes and at the end Miss. Sakie asked them some questions.

Group 3 went next, everything was going fine until this girl bring up one point that did not sit well with me.

I completed the 20-minute journey back home on foot, by the time I step my feet in the house I was panting like a dog who is at death's door. My whole body is aching badly, my legs are shaking slightly, and I am completely out of breath.

How the hell am I going to complete the daily Quest, my body already gave up on 3. "Is that you Issei?" Upon entering the house with the spare key, moms voice came from the living room.

I will surely complete this quest by midnight, no matter what, I was thinking about the possible penalties the system might drop on my ass, some of them are loss of the system, loss of stats, or maybe some kind of negative alignment— if you know what I mean— and I was very worried that what if the system chooses to ditch my lazy ass?

My game is practically over. I will have no means to protect my ass, that is why I am so desperate to finish the quest.

Navigating the street via Issei memories, I quickly arrived before a gym. I paused for a few moments to study the small sketch of the gym with a different label attached above an area, now that I have some idea of the gym's inner geography I approached the receptionist lady to talk about the Gym's monthly subscription and daily charges.

Monthly subscription cost about 4,610 yen(40$) and daily visit charges 347 yen(3$). Right now I lack the funds for the monthly subscription, but I do have funds to use the gym for today. I paid the lady and headed to the cardiovascular area, where they usually keep equipment like treadmills and elliptical.

I glanced at my watch, I have two hours in my hand to complete the run. I made some excuses and got permission to leave, but I have to return home before 9:30. I Groaned out almost reflexively, this is going to hurt bad, real bad.

I thought as I eyed the treadmill with a look of utter dread…

And two hours later it was finally over. I fell down on my knees, my breathing was rough while thick drops of sweat dripped down my face, just what the fuck did I committed to? If I do every day, I will die.
