Hidden Village

*Chapter start*

(Arturia's pov)

It has been six years since that old man had taken me to an orphanage. His name is Sarutobi Hiruzen. Apparently he is some kind of leader in this city. Well actually, it is not a city but something like a village, even if it's much bigger than the villages that I know.

But since I came to this world, I have noticed a few different things.

Like the lack of religious faith, but it's not like it doesn't exist it's more like they don't care that much. Well I think that's a given, since their only god seems to have lived with them a long time ago and gave them a mysterious energy called chakra.

And it's not like other mythologies where the god didn't live or interacted with the humans at least not as much as this one. Here they have an entire chronology calendar of this god's life. With things like what era he lived, when he died, about his sons and even possible descendants like the Uchiha and Hyuga. From what I've seen, even the culture of how they use this energy called chakra is based on his teachings.

That's a plus in the category of different things, chakra. For them it seems to work a lot like a magic core, but the exact structural composition and the flow of energy is beyond me.

In my case my core helps me into becoming something more than a human. To me, my core slowly transforms my body into one of a dragon or at least halfway into one, guaranteeing me physical properties of a dragon.

In their case this energy slowly gets into their bodys, and somehow with time, becomes an integral part of their lives, I mean they aren't born directly with chakra. I now it because the same happened to me, but even with all the power within them, they don't seem to be able to control it at least not all of them, though I have seem some teenagers running and jumping with a strength beyond the realm of normal humans, even without using the said energy, maybe chakra if used correctly can influence the original composition of human body, maybe humans here have the same capacity as the humans before the end of the Age of Gods in my former life?

Talking more about my dragon core and chakra, they really work well together, even though it's a different energy, I think it doesn't matter as far as energy, but I still don't have a great domain of the subject so it is just basic speculation. Only Merlin would be able to explain the more complex workings of odd and prana.

Actually I feel even stronger than in my first years in my former life, my body feels like it's overflowing with vitality, maybe this is some kind of special characteristic of this world hu...

"See there it's the demon child" A voice whispering insults me.

Yeah... there is that too.

I've been living for six years in this world and since I was four this kind of treatment started. But I couldn't be bothered with them. In life I was both praised as a god and hated as the devil. People fearing me for what I am is nothing out of the ordinary for me.

And it's not like the people in the village have always been this offensive to me. I remember my caretakers smiling at me when I was a baby but since these insults and whispers started even they stopped treating me kindly.

Because of this, the old man Sarutobe had to give me a new house since it was impossible to live in the orphanage.

Sincerely I don't know what that man expected from a six years old kid living alone, well not that I think is bad after all I'm an adult mentaly, but have some sense of an old man.

Anyway, back to the topic.

This is not normal, for a kid to receive such hate. It's like someone is purposely trying to attack me personally... hmm I have to blame someone for this, it would be that other old man.

I think his name was Danzo.

They were discussing what to do with me after all. Maybe he is trying to force me to do something... well, it's not like I can do something for now, I'm too young and I think that even with a prana burst I can't overpower them, maybe that would enough to overcome some of the teenagers I have seen, but not those old men.

Putting aside these dark thoughts, the architecture and organization in this village is really complicated. I almost can't locate my home.

In architecture it doesn't have a specific form or design, everything looks so different from the other. There are dome houses, modern buildings, round houses and even normal japanese style houses.

But the worst is their organization, better the lack of it.

It's just like they simply started to build their houses where they seem to like, with the only limitation being to not interfere with the roads, but even then, they can maintain everything clean. This is a good point in this madness of architecture design.

(Arturia's pov)

With my recent move from the orphanage, the old man said that I will start attending a shinobi school.

Initially I thought that the proposition was absurd, how can the King of Knights do such a cowardly thing as hiding in the shadows and planning assassinations, but then again I need to learn more about this world and the chakra related matters.

Even if such things are beneath me I must learn... because of this that I'm at school right now.

If I were to talk about the school, I would have to say that it's completely different from the schools I have seen in my time in the Holy Grail War.

It's design is simply strange, the entrance looks like a tower that get thinner the higher it goes with the symbol of the village at its center, while being connected with two more normal buildings, similar with Shirou's classrooms building, but with a more archaic looking made entirely of what seems like to be red concrete for the main building and refined bamboo for the roof and for windows.

There are a lot of open spaces around the main building, but besides the main field of practice, the rest doesn't look to have a lot of utilities.

But the building itself looks beautiful even with the alarming difference with the schools of Japan.

As I approach the entrance I see a guy with a green jacket and dark blue trousers and t-shirt, he looks a little surprised to see me.

I guess he wasn't prepared to see the demon of the village.

He approaches me and says,

"Starting now I will be the teacher responsible for you, my name is Umino Iruka. Pleasure to meet you." He greets me well mannered, hiding pretty well the fact that he doesn't like me at all.

Hmm... at last he has manners.

"My name is Uzumaki Aoi. Pleasure to meet you too."By the way, that's my name now.

I say tilting my head a little to show respect.

He seems to appreciate it as he also nods.

"Well, it's better we get going after all you won't like to be late for your first class, right." He says less tensile this time

I nod and follow him to what would be my classroom for the next seven years.

(Arturia's pov)

Well it's exactly what I was expecting in a class full of kids, except the hair color variety.

Actually the first day was only a lot of introductions and rules explanations. I got bored and started to look out of the window.

There is a lot of movement down there in the practice field, it seems like they are doing some type of hand to hand combat practice.

And looks awful, but they are only kids. I can't expect a fully capable fighter coming from them. I can even see a white haired teacher holding his laugh to not discourage the children.

The fight now is between two kids, a dark haired one with dark eyes and a red haired one.

I can't see his features very well, since his head is lowered, besides that his posture is actually good even though it is full of openings.

The dark haired kid is even better, of course it seems that at last there will be some competition for me in the next decade if they progress fast enough

Then the fight started.

The dark haired boy took the initiative and ran to the red haired one with a low center of gravity, preparing a punch in one of the various openings the red haired boy has.

But surprisingly the red haired boy dodged and took the dark boy's hand, pushing him forward throwing him off balance, in sequence tapping lightly on his opponent's back and making him fall on the ground, even then the dark haired boy didn't give up and continued his pursuit against the red haired one.

I have to admit the red haired one is better than I thought, even though I couldn't see through his fake openings from the start. I don't know if I could beat him in a hand to hand combat. His style is very familiar to me somehow.

I can't even fathom who would teach such a suicidal technique to a kid.

In a death battle having such a style of combate can get you killed very easily, only with a lot of experience and practice such technique would be useful, if I tried I could maybe be able to imitate his technique, but I don't like it, there isn't pride in such a fight style you just use youself and your weapons as disposable resources.

Looks like he finished the fight, locking his opponent's shoulder and throwing him of balence, immobilizing him on the ground.

He stands up and offers his hand to the dark haired boy in the ground, the boy seems to be a bit conflicted with the offer, but he takes it anyway.

Now that they come back to the waiting line I can finally see the red haired boy's face... he has average looks besides his red hair and his golden caramel looks just like...

"Shirou..."
