"You think this is a joke?" Xeno Glared at Nico and sighed. "You gotta take this seriously! People's lives are at risk, you idiot!" Xeno Punched Nico on the back of the head.

"I know that! Its just idk if im able to win." Nico looked down dejected and started to think of what he could do when a thought popped into his head. "Xeno I know a way out of this but its not pretty" Nico looked at Xeno with a weary grin.

"You know the only pretty I accept is a date! This better be good" Xeno warned Nico as he looked on expectantly.

"We have to Fuse Xeno." Xeno looked at Nico in shock, did he really just say that?

"Fuse?! But its permanent!" Xeno couldn't believe what Nico was suggesting, He looked on at NIco like he was a mad man.

"Its the only way!" Nico's voice was chocking up as he was about to lose everything to save everything he cares about.

"Are you really prepared to give up everything youve built with Syoko?" Xeno Looked like he was going to breakdown in tears because he knows how much this life meant to Nico.

"Sometimes sacrifice is necessary" Nico's voice faded into the wind and his eyes were staring blankly into the endless sky.

"Alright" Xeno took off one of his earrings and handed it to Nico. "You ready?" Xeno looked over at Nico who already adorned the earring right as a beam shot through Nicos chest.

"Oh im sorry, was i supposed to wait for you?" a mysterious voice echoed on the battlefield leaving nothing but the deafening silence of death.
