Dragon Ball: Reborn as Bardock with Uchiha Blood

My name is Kabuto, a college graduate from Earth. I am among the 40% that couldn't get jobs while studying and have to search for one on my own. I work at a convenient store and the only thing that I had with me was anime.

I was returning home from my shift and it was already dark. The area near my house was known for a high crime rate due to a large number of unemployed men. All they do is get money someway or the other, drink and pass out. I wasn't worried about them, since I was broke and didn't have anything to steal.

As I was walking, I suddenly heard the sound tires made when they skid. I turned around and before I could even react, I felt pain in my abdomen, head and then blank. I lost consciousness immediately and couldn't feel anything.

There was nothing around me. It was dark everywhere, silent, and I couldn't feel anything. Then, I heard someone call out to me "Hey". I looked around and found a weird figure to my right. It was a ball of blue fire. I asked "What are you?"

It replied "I am a soul like you". Since I can't see my body, I didn't have any choice to believe you. The soul then said "You should have realised by now that you are dead and are now a soul."

I didn't say anything to that because I know that I died, but I didn't like it. I didn't even do anything in my life. As though he could read my mind, the soul said "I will give you another chance. You will be reborn in the world of Dragon Ball."

My obvious reply was "If you can give me another chance, why not take it yourself?" to which it replied "Although I want to, it is not possible. I was already given a chance to be reborn in Dragon Ball by a god. I was also given a system to help me. I was tasked by that God to kill Zeno. I spent 50 years training and challenged Zeno, but I was killed in the end.

Now, although I want to go and try again, my soul has fused with the system when I died and it is now too strong for any mortal body to handle. So, I need your help in killing Zeno. I was given 150 years to kill him and already spent 50 years. I need to complete the task or else, my soul and the souls of everyone I love, will be sent to the endless void to suffer."

I asked "What will you do if I refuse to do what you asked?" and it replied "I will have to leave you here till you go insane and find another soul that would respond to my call". I could tell that he was threatening me, but I obviously wasn't going to miss this chance. I want to accept it, but I feel like he isn't telling me everything.

The soul then said "If you decide to accept it, remember that tricks like living your life and not doing anything, won't work. Since I am helping you, you will have a connection to me and you will also be sent to the void. The void is a place where universes are born and destroyed. The energy there will rip our soul into pieces and fix it again. The pain is something you can't imagine. So, think properly before you decide to accept the deal."

I then asked "You are asking me to do such a dangerous task. Don't you think you should offer something more than just rebirth". I know that if I refuse, he will have to wait longer and as time passes, the difficulty of the task increases. So, he needs me to accept the task. I am ready for it. but I need more help. He couldn't do it even with the help of a system.

There was a long pause before it answered. The soul then asked "What power do you need?" and I immediately replied "A rinnegan, or a devil fruit like a logia or mythical devil fruit, or a zampakuto, or some summons that can wipe out planets, or.."

I was stopped before I could continue. The soul said "I don't have all that. Also, I can't give you too many powers since your soul can't handle the stress. Among all the powers I have, Uchiha Blood is the only one that helped me a lot in my battles. It should help you too. It can also give you a rinnegan if you grow strong enough."

I didn't say anything, because it is a good power to have in the Dragon Ball world. I then agreed to the deal and the soul said "I was born way before the story started and it should be the same now. So, you will be born in a time you don't have much knowledge about. Be careful and train properly before you face Zeno. He isn't a weakling like he looks."

I was then hit with a bright light and everything turned dark again. I didn't know how much time passed, but I could feel something around me. I tried opening my eyes and when I did, I was hit with a bright light. I waited for my eyes to adjust to the brightness.

I looked at the ceiling and it was something I couldn't recognise, proving that it wasn't just a dream. I looked around and found out that I was in some sort of a crib in a hospital. I then heard a man say "Another saiyan with low power. How are we going to survive if we don't have enough combat Saiyans? We need to conquer the planet as soon as possible."

"I am sorry King, but it is not something I can control." another voice said. Then, they both left the room and went somewhere else. I tried moving around and that's when I felt something else I didn't have in my previous life, a tail. It felt too weird that I could control it and it was a part of my body.

I am lucky that I was born as a saiyan, but I wasn't too worried about this. Even if I was born as some other species, I could just change my DNA to that of a saiyan. Now that I am a saiyan, I should start training after I reach 4-5 years old. Also, that conversation from before is interesting. He said something about conquering the planet. I guess that this is the planet plant and the Saiyans have yet to conquer this planet and name it Planet Vegeta. Obviously this has nothing to do with me. I just need to become stronger.

*Time skip 6 years*

After I was able to walk, the first thing I learnt is that my name is Bardock, Goku's father. Another thing is that, we are at war and things are not good for me. My parents died in that war. I need a good training environment and I can't find that here. We live in a military camp and they are teaching us how to fight.

They didn't teach us much about close combat because they also didn't focus much on it. Since we are weaker than others when we were born, we must depend on our Great Ape form. So, they just taught us how to control ourselves in the Great Ape form.

Since the Saiyans are at war with the Tuffles, they need funds to stay at war. While the combat Saiyans fight the Tuffles, we, the weaklings, are sent to planets to destroy them and auction them off. Today is the day I am sent to my planet. We are given 5 years to wipe out everyone on the planet. The only reason we get this much time is because there were no planets with weak lifeforms.

The list they had are all planets with very strong inhabitants. That's why they gave us 5 years. I was called to the building where they assigned us missions. When I entered, I walked to a woman with long black hair sitting behind a desk. She has black eyes and a chest that would make any non-Saiyans horny. Her name is Lattuce. She is the one who assigns us missions. She doesn't have an arrogant personality like other Saiyans because she is weak.

She looked at me and said "Bardock, I have been waiting for you. I was told that since you were the strongest in your group, you get to choose which planet you will go to." giving me a paper with a list of planets and their average power level. I am the strongest in my group because idiots don't train that much. They think that power is fixed and you can only increase it a little with time.

I looked through the list and I honestly couldn't decide which planet to choose since they didn't have names. They were only numbered and they had the location of the planet. I then remembered that I needed to go to Earth, which is in the northern part of the Universe. So, I looked for a strong planet and found a planet which was in the north of the universe and it had the third highest power level in the list.

I told Lattuce my choice and she said "Wow, going for one of the strongest planets. The only reason it is in third place is because we decrease it due to the 16 moons revolving around it." When I heard the moon part, I was very happy. They should mention things like this in the list.

16 moons are enough to wipe out any population if you are a Saiyan. The gravity of the planet should also be way higher than this planet. I can't wait to go there. So, I immediately leave the building, go to my room and pack all the things I had, which are battle armours.

I then went to the space station where all the spaceships take off. I gave my details to the man in charge and he led me to a spherical spaceship similar to the one Goku was in when he landed on Earth. We were also taught how to operate this thing, so I sat in the spaceship and took off to my target planet.

The only problem I had was that I had never killed anyone before and wiping out an entire planet for my first time is going to be difficult. The journey was for 10 days and while I was in the spaceship, I kept meditating. The main thing I noticed when I was in my Great Ape form is that, when there is too much ki in your body, it gets hard to control and stay sane. Also, this causes a lot of ki wastage. I am learning how to keep my ki under control so that there is no wastage and I can use it efficiently.

This is very difficult, since Saiyans have a lot of raw ki in them, it is difficult to control it, but I am getting there. If I manage to do it, I should be able to use a lot of ki without increasing my power and also escape from any sensor that measures battle power like the scouters which Frieza will bring in the future. They measure the ki that our body is giving out.

I meditated the whole 10 days, taking breaks occasionally and admiring the view of space. I was then getting closer to my target. I could see a huge brown planet with 16 moons revolving around it. I stopped meditating and got ready for my stay here.

As the spaceship got closer, I was starting to see the cities and the buildings on the planet. I landed the spaceship far away from the cities because I didn't want to start fighting immediately. My spaceship landed in some forest of the planet and I got out of the spaceship. The air on the planet was heavy and the gravity was way more than Planet Plant. I stepped out and looked at the sky. It is day time, but the sky is red and dark. If I had to compare it, it is similar to the sky we have on Earth during sunrise and sunset.

I guess the moons make it difficult for the sunlight to fall on this planet. I looked around and I heard something come towards me. I immediately moved away from my spaceship and his at a watchable distance. The gravity of the planet is slowing me down a lot.

After a few minutes, a weird vehicle, which looked like a floating bike, came to my spaceship. There were two people riding the vehicle. One had green skin while the other had blue skin. Both were very short, had four eyes and looked ugly. I remember seeing a character in Dragon Ball Z which had a lot of similarities to them.
