Becoming a Disciple and Strange Sphere.

In that same day, Roshi had canceled classes and daily training, Mimi could see that he was very emotionally shaken, probably remembering the memory of his daughter and wife.

The next day, however, Roshi woke Mimi up at 4:30 am, which was a surprised, as he normally lets her sleep as much as she wants.

The two were outside the house, facing the Palm tree that is in front of the house. Mimi could feel the cold wind coming off the ocean, and she could barely see anything because of the darkness.

''Hm..? Grandpa? Isn't it too early to wake up...? Mimi said slowly with a yawn.

(A / N: I have to stop writing 'yawn' . Every time I read it, I yawn. And I can see that you yawned too, didn't you?)

Roshi had just woken her up, because of that, Mimi's little head were still not fully working.

''Early? For a normal person, it's early, but for a Kame school disciple, it's the perfect time to wake up!'' Roshi responds.

Mimi, who still hadn't fully woken up, didn't understand what her grandfather meant.

''Grandpa...what are you talking about?'' She said as she massaged her sleepy eyes.

''That's exactly what I meant. Starting today, I will be training you as a disciple of the Kame school.'' Roshi replied.

''I thought you said I was too young for this?'' Mimi snapped, a little more awake.

''That was when you were five! You are now seven years old with a strong, healthy and energetic body. It is the best time to start your martial arts training.'' Roshi said.

''Okay but....what am I going to train? There really isn't much space on this tiny island...''

''Hohohoho! We're not going to train here, but on another island, a bigger one! And since we're going to be there for a long time, I'm going to take our house in a capsule!'' Roshi replies.

At the mention of capsules, Mimi's little ears twitched.

She had already studied about capsules and the Capsule Corporation. She knew their effects and what they were for, but she had never seen it first hand. Her grandfather, Roshi, went out of the island in a speedboat every morning to buy supplies and new pornographic magazines and Roshi keeps the speedboat in a capsule, but as she could never wake up early on her own, she never saw how it worked.

Roshi puts his hand inside the tortoiseshell that he almost always carries on his back and takes out a small white box, a little bigger than the palm of his hand.

He opens the box, and takes out an object that looks like a tiny bottle, even smaller than a finger, but instead of having a bottle mouth, there was a small push-button in the top of it. On the body of the bottle, there was a piece of paper glued with the word 'Casa' written on it.

Roshi then presses the push-button with his finger, and throws the capsule in front of his house.

Mimi looks at the scene anxiously, waiting to see what would happen, and after a few seconds, in a flash, the house simply disappears.

''EHHHHHHHHHH?!?!" Mimi yells in surprise.

Mimi's eyes widen and her chin drops to the floor at such a sight. Every day she assumes she's gotten used to this world, but later on, something unexpected always happens, making her reconsider her own claims.

''How is this possible? No, actually, that shouldn't be possible!! How can a house fit inside this thing smaller than a finger?!'' She said, still in disbelief as she pointed with a shaking hand at the capsule that was on the floor.

Roshi calmly walks towards the capsule, picks it up, and places it in the white box.

''Now Mimi, why are you so surprised? Haven't I already taught you about capsules?'' Roshi asked, confused as to why his granddaughter looked so shaken.

''Reading about it in a book and seeing it first hand is completely different!!'' Mimi retorts irritated.

''Right, right. Whatever. Please don't yell so loud, Okay? It's four in the morning.'' Roshi says scolding Mimi while scratching the inside ear.

''And who do you think that woke me up at this hour?!'' Mimi yells again.

Roshi laughs, ''I see you are finally fully awake! That said, it's time for us to go!''

From its white box, Roshi takes out another capsule, which had 'SpeedBoat' written on its label. Roshi presses the small push-button, and throws the capsule towards the sea. At the same moment, in an explosion of smoke, a speedboat appears in the place where the capsule was thrown.

Roshi climbs into his speedboat, and signals for Mimi to come in as well.

Mimi sighs, ''Whatever. I'm too sleepy for this.''

Mimi climbs into the speedboat behind Roshi, and Roshi starts the speedboat. Unexpected again for Mimi, the speedboat was really fast, the wind hitting her face was so cold she felt like she was freezing.

----------

After a few minutes of traveling by speedboat, Mimi looked to the horizon and saw an island a few miles away. The island was huge and even had an active volcano, which made Mimi feel anxious.

''Are we going to train....on that island, grandpa?''

''Oh yeah! It's right there!''

Mimi shivered.

'I'm beginning to think that my grandfather, in addition to being a pervert, is a sadist!' Mimi thought.

After a few more minutes, they arrive and disembark on the island.

Roshi puts his speedboat back in the pod and the two take a long walk towards the top of a little hill that was close to the coast of the island.

Arriving at the top, Roshi heads towards the middle of the place, and Mimi follows behind. He takes out the capsule that contained his house, and throws it on the floor.

The next instant, in a burst of smoke, the house appears.

Roshi then turns to Mimi, who already looked tired, and says, ''Starting today, I will train you every day, all day, but I will still stick to the schedule of classes and afternoon nap time.''

''Okay, fine. But can I at least have breakfast before that?'' Mimi grumbles.

''Oh yes of course....'' Roshi responds.

''Okay, good.'' Mimi sighs in relief.

''That is, if you can hunt down your own breakfast, hohoho!.'' Roshi says with an evil laugh.

''Wait, what?! What do you mean by that?''

''It's exactly what I said. From today, in addition to your Martial Arts training, you will have to hunt your own meal. Be it mammals, fish, or birds.''

''And how do you expect me to do that? I never hunted anything!'' Mimi complains.

''Hohoho! I have no idea!'' Roshi replied as he stroked his beard.

Tears welled up in Mimi's eyes, but she held back her cry.

''This is no training! This is just bullying! What kind of grandfather does that to his own granddaughter?!'' Mimi said as she stomped on the floor, outraged at such proposal.

Roshi looks at Mimi seriously, no longer with that fond grandfatherly gaze, ''Mimi, I told you that starting today, I would treat you like a disciple, didn't I? That said, I'll do it as such. As my disciple, your first assignment will be to hunting your own food after our first morning class.''

Mimi lowers her head in frustration, but still nods. She has never hunted anything in her life, and doesn't know how rigorous her grandfather's training is going to be, and yet she had agreed that she wanted to learn, so she must go all the way, if not, she won't be able to call herself a real martial artist.

''Hmm, good girl.'' Roshi responds and pats her on the head.

''Alright, let's get started!'' He yelled.

----------

Roshi trained Mimi for four hours. In the first two hours, Roshi made her do various physical exercises, such as sit-ups, push-ups, jumping jacks, among many others. For the other two hours, Roshi taught her the way of the Turtle Hermit, showing her some basic techniques and positions.

By eight in the morning, Mimi was lying on the floor breathing heavily; she was soaked in sweat.

''Not bad for your first morning training!'' Roshi said with satisfaction.

Mimi, who was on the floor, just grunted in response.

''Now it's time for you to hunt your breakfast!'' Roshi says, and then throws a wooden stick with a sharp point next to Mimi, ''I'll give you this wooden stake, but that's all! You must get food by your own efforts.''

Mimi struggles to her feet, picks up the wooden stake and starts walking away while still huffing.

As she was very tired, birds and mammals were Mimi's last option. That said, the only option left was fishing.

'Old bastard! Just wait! When we get back, I'm going to make a big fire out of all your porn mags!' Mimi thought wickedly as she walked towards a nearby stream.

Using the stake, Mimi tried to catch some fish, but whenever she attacked, the fish fled too fast.

She tried to fish for a few minutes, but without success. Angry, frustrated, and hungry, in a fit of rage Mimi throws the stake hard into the stream, which sinks between the stones.

''Fuck this!!'' She curses.

She breathes for a few minutes, then calms down.

She decides to try again, and pulls the wooden stake out of the creek boulders, but when she pulls the stake out, she sees a strange orange glow between the stones.

''What the heck....''

Getting curious, she digs up the rocks, and among them, Mimi finds an orange crystalline sphere that emits a strange glow. Inside the sphere, she noticed that there was something like three little stars that if connected, formed a triangle.

''What the hell is this sphere? Is it supposed to be a special marble or something?'' Mimi deduced.

Mimi then shrugs and puts the sphere in her pocket.

''Whatever. Time to try fishing again!'' She said as she rolled up her sleeves.

This book is just for my enjoyment, so don't expect a very elaborate plot, perfect grammar and things like that. But if you still liked it, please add it to your library, and if you have any suggestions for the fanfic, feel free to write in the comments section!
