Partying in Canterlot.

Hugging Luna was like hugging a big and fluffy nuclear reactor. While he did enjoy the feeling immensely, it didn't change the fact that his mage sight screamed bloody murder without even being activated... Of course that didn't mean he had no control over the ability. It just meant that just like with Celestia, Luna had so much power that even somepony without a mage sight but with a strong enough magic sense could feel the magical distortion from the powerful Alicorns.

Luna greeted the girls and then turned back to Starfall with her ever present excitement.

"So? How is Ponyville treating you Starfall? I know it's not like Canterlot but I heard from Tia that it's a very nice and friendly Town." She asked and Starfall couldn't help but smile.

"Yes the place is great and I especially like the quiet atmosphere. I also really love how friendly every pony is to each other. You just can't dislike that town." Starfall admitted before smiling towards the girls in his company.

"There's is also a lot of beautiful and strong Mares and I'm proud to be friends with the best of them all." He said with a grin, making the girls blush and Luna giggle.

"My, my! You seem to be having fun Starfall." She winked at him.

She was about to tease him but was interrupted by the sound of trumpets.

"Ah it's seems like this is my que! Wish me luck my Dear!" She said as she turned towards where she was supposed go in order to start the ceremony...

The ceremony of reenthronement went without a hitch with Luna finally finding her place beside Celestia as she waved towards the gathered ponies from the balcony.

She expected them to be angry at her yet everyone cheered for getting yet another powerful Princess who could protect them in times of need.

Before long the formal stuff ended and the ponyvile ponies and the Alicorn Princesses found themselves enjoying a private party with cakes, bananas and many other treats.

Spike and Phoebe would have normally gone with them but only Phoebe decided to come while Spike opted to instead stay with Sweetie Bell and Mrs. Cake in Ponyville.

The White Phoenix was currently in a deep conversation with Philomena about whether their feather's could be used as quills...

"...So I tried to visit you in your sleep Starfall and I couldn't find you. Do you have an idea why that is?" Asked Luna completely oblivious to how wrong it sounded.

Starfall just snorted and said.

"Well that's obvious Luna. I'm a very cautious pony and I don't leave my mind open for every single telepath and sleep walker to rummage through." He explained as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

The next half an hour contained Starfall explaining all the protections he reenacted around his mind in order to stop others from messing with his head.

Luna was honestly really impressed and Twilight who was already taught by him a bunch of similar magics felt that he was still hiding some powers from her. She would have to seduce him later into teaching her this stuff. Of course She wouldn't be surprised if that was Starfall's plan from the beginning... She was more than happy to comply though...

"Oh my Gosh! Look! It's Wonderbolts! I didn't knew They were performing today!" Exclaimed Rainbow Dash with worship clear in her voice.

"Haha! Who else did you expect Dashie? They are the best flying team in Equestria and it's basically a Ruler's coronation's celebration. For them not to perform would be honestly a surprise." Starfall teased Rainbow Dash the next day as they were walking through the festival that was set up in Canterlot square.

"look!! Cotton Candy!!!" Exclaimed Pinkie Pie before disappearing and appearing right in front of a startled stall owner and demanding an extra large portion...

Starfall decided to temporary ignore the blatant spatial displacement and guided the girls to a stall selling vegetable kebabs (no meat)

"Do you want some, Girls?" He asked and received a barrage of nods in return.

Everyone were soon enjoying their food or at least the unicorns Pegasi and Pinkie as Applejack had no way of holding the kebab while walking so she took it as a takeaway in her saddlebags.

Unicorns of the group obviously levitated the food while Fluttershy and Rainbow used their wings' Feathers to hold the kebabs, proving by it that the wings are more than just flying tools. He was honestly surprised that Pegasi could bend their feathers to hold stuff but there was a simple explanation to that phenomenon that he easily confirmed... Magic.

As For Pinkie Pie. She actually used the same ability that the Pegasi have but instead used her own Mane to hold the kebab. When Starfall figured that out, he felt very happy to figure out at least a small fragment of how Pinkie does what she does...

The day quickly passed with everyone enjoying themselves immensely. At some point even Princess Luna decided to join them and that really did some good to the 'out of time Alicorn' and her visage amongst the citizens.

"I really had a great time today Starfall, Everypony. Thank you all for this wonderful evening." Said Luna as they were about to depart home.

"Likewise, we really enjoyed your company Luna. Please send our regards to Celestia. It's a shame she couldn't join us but I know how busy she is all the time." Starfall said to Luna as they were mounting the train towards Ponyville.

Luna smiled but then surprised Starfall by kissing him on the cheek.

"Please visit me sometime..." She blushed and said her goodbyes before leaving in a hurry clearly embarrassed with what she did.

Starfall was surprised with what just happened but decided not to think too much about it. Would Luna really have feelings like this for him? He'd have to wait and see but he wasn't opposed to the idea. It's not like they were related in any way that mattered, and she was beautiful. Her age, with Luna being immortal and all that, didn't matter either. She didn't have a mindset of an old person at any rate and like they say...'Age Is just a number...'

The train ride back to Ponyville wasn't really

anything special. The seven ponies spend that time joking with each other and playing card games while showing of the souvenirs they acquired.

Fluttershy was especially fond of a giant plushy bunny that Starfall won for her in a ball throwing game during the festival. If someone asks him whether he used any magic to win, he would firmly deny it... after all there was no visible magic aura. That he could make his spells invisible since he was eleven was also not of anyone's concern...

Receiving a parting kiss from every Mare present, no matter whether it was on the cheek or on the lips made Starfall consider it a very successful excursion...
