Chapter 156 Resurrect

After Ainz saves the village, he gains information about the New World from the village chief. He decides to withdraw, but Gazef's troops arrive at the village. Ainz Ooal Gown introduces himself as the one that saved the village. Gazef thanks him for saving the village; however, an unknown group has surrounded Carne Village.

The Sunlight Scripture, led by Nigun Grid Luin, prepares to attack Carne Village and kill Gazef Stronoff. When Carne Village is surrounded, Gazef requests Ainz Ooal Gown to protect the village once more, knowing that it is a selfish request.

However, Ainz agrees due to his respect for him and hands him a souvenir sculpture as a gift, which confuses Gazef.

Gazef and his troops valiantly attempt to save the villagers from the fighting.

Gazef uses his martial arts against the angels, but he becomes overwhelmed by their magic, resulting in all his troops dead or unable to fight.

Nigun tells Gazef that he should abandon the villagers and save his own life. Instead, Gazef taunts Nigun by telling him that someone in the village is stronger than he is. Nigun thinks he's bluffing and orders his angels to finish Gazef off.

However, just before he is killed, he is suddenly teleported along with his men to the village storage house. Gazef notices that the sculpture has vanished from his hand, now realizing that he was saved by none other than Ainz.

Ainz confronts the Sunlight Scripture and requests them to surrender or face the consequences.

With a brief discussion coming to an end, the Sunlight Scripture first sends two angels to kill him.

Cheering at the sight of Ainz being pierced by their swords, the members then become confused when they realized he had not collapsed.

After the two angels are destroyed single-handedly with just his bare hands, their leader, Nigun ordered for the rest to swarm Ainz, but this ends in failure as they get caught in his Negative Burst.

Panicking in disbelief, Nigun summons the Principality Observation, but this too is immediately countered in a single blow.

Ainz uses Negative Burst on the Archangel Flame and uses Hell Flame on the Principality Observation.

Dumbfounded, he accuses the two of being demon gods and proceeds to activate his final trump card - the highest level angel, Dominion Authority. Signaling the attack, the angel managed to hurt Ainz with Holy Smite but fails to follow up,

Albedo gets mad and curses this lower life form of hurting her beloved. Ainz calms Albedo down and uses Black Hole on the Dominion Authority.

Instantly, the Dominion Authority becomes consumed by his Black Hole.

Nigun begins to beg for his life but he is turned down by Ainz and Albedo. The remaining members face the consequences of their foolishness.

Ainz easily defeats the Sunlight Scripture and disappeared, returning to Nazarick.

After Ainz Left, Eero appeared inside the village along with Ada,

"Brother, should I resurrect them?" Ada asked thoughtfully,

Eero nodded looking at the villagers gathering their fellow villagers' bodies, then said, "Now you can resurrect them."

Ada nodded, took a deep breath then raised her hand,

She thought to herself recalling Momonga and Albedo appearance.
