Ch: 4 The Scorpion

Dungeon..

Dev and others are searching for another monster to fight since the defeat of the Red goblin has given him a huge boost in morale and they were confident enough from the start since the academy improves all sphere of work such Combat, Reaction Speed, Core Disection etc. Students are trained in combat with the help of virtual made reality like Dungeon to enhance the battle experience of the students.

*Boom*

Just as they were moving deeper into the forest, they heard a explosion so they immediately moved toward the direction of the noise after running for a minute they finally saw the reason of the explosion.

In front of them there was a 6 feet gaint Black scorpion eating flesh of a monster. The scorpion was a stage 3 initial Saint Realm and it immediately picked up the presence of three humans. "That's a mutated Black Scorpion known for its strong senses and poisonous hook so be beware no to get inflicted" said Ayansh as he made the analysis. "Also it's already in the 3rd stage so it will be little tricky situation so be beware of it" said Dev. "Plus you can't ignore it's enhanced senses so it will be impossible to use the goblin trick on it " said Riyansh.

They were still discussing the plan on how to kill the scorpion when suddenly the scorpion slashed it's hook in their direction and a black liquid was forced in their direction.

Dev who was standing at the left immediately flickes his hand and a yellow colour barrier appeared in front of them. Dev had used his Defensive technique "EARTH TURTLES DEFENSE" and protected everyone.

Then everyone spontaneously summoned their weapons and moved in three different directions.

Riyansh used his movement technique "SHADOW STEPS" and appeared behind the beast and attacked it's hook using the Glaive "Second Form : STAR SLASH".

But sensing the danger from his attack the beast immediately moved away from his position and that's when he was in their trap as Ayansh appeared on its left slashed one of it's foreleg using the sword.

As if loosing one of it's leg wasn't enough Dev appeared on the scorpions right and destroyed it's other foreleg making it stumble and fall on the ground with face first.

They thought that now the beast will attack Dev or Ayansh so Riyansh once again appeared behind the scorpion to give the last hit but the scorpion seems to have sensed Riyansh and it suddenly attacked him with his hook.

Riyansh saw that the beast was attacking him readily defended himself using his Glaive but was still thrown meters away and crashed into one of the trees.

Seeing this angered surfaced in eyes of Ayansh so he immediately used all his Qi and used his strongest attack.

"You bastard you dare to...., take this FOURTH FORM : SLAUGHTERER'S SWORD " and slashed the scorpion into half.

After all his Qi was used up a exhausted look appeared on Ayansh face. "Take this" Dev appeared beside him and gave him a White shining Pill. Ayansh took the pill and swallowed it and then immediately ran toward the tree where Riyansh crashed.

The pill that Dev gave to Ayansh was a ' Qi Replenishing Pill' when used replenishes the exhausted Qi.

[ Pills are decided into Tiers i.e. Lowest Tier -1 to Tier-5

and each tier is further decided into 4 levels:

•Low Quality

• Medium Quality

• High Quality

• Perfect Quality. ]

[ These Pills are refined by Alchemists and Weapons are forged by Blacksmith and there are many other Auxiliary professions : These are categorized as following:

Apprentice

Master

Expert

Grand master

Lord

King.

Each grade categories based on Cultivation Realm plus conditions according to the Class / Job. Such as : A Master Class Beast Tamer will definitely have a pet beast of Saint Realm. ]

Ayansh and Dev reached the tree and saw Riyansh lying on the ground so they approached him and Dev asked " Riyansh, are you alright "" Yes " said Riyansh as he stood up. Ayansh sighed in relief then said "Hurry up And meditate and replenish your Qi so that we can move forward" and he also sat on the ground and started to meditate.

Riyansh and Dev also followed his suit and started to meditate.

Half an Hour Later...

The trio was moving in the forest in search of Beasts *Howl* *Howl* when suddenly they heard Howls of wolf.

"Oh shit, It looks like we are surrounded by a pack of wolf " Said Dev. Dev said that they were surrounded because howls of wolf were coming from all directions of the forest.

"But there shouldn't be many of them " Said Riyansh since lily had already done a cross check before they came so as to insure their safety.

"Don't jinx it. " said Ayansh and just as he said those word Grey Wolf a meter tall started to appear in front of them from all directions. And it didn't stop until a total of 100 or so wolfs surrounded the three of them. "Holy shit. How can lily ignore this big of a pack of Wolf" said Dev.

"Something is not right because Lily won't make this big of a mistake" Said Riyansh. "We can discuss that later first tell how should we deal with these wolf " asked Ayansh.

"From what I can guess there should be 50 stage 1 Saint beast, 40 or so stage 2 beast" said Dev.

"The Problem is not these minions but those five leaders hiding in the shadows" said Ayansh. "What is happening" said Riyansh with a frown on his face. "What Happened?" asked Dev.

"I thought of summoning Leona but my beast space is not happening" said Riyansh. "Could it be trap from those sinister Evil society" said Ayansh as he analysed their situation.
