Guests

"Aaahhhmmnnn…"

The wind flowed through the sleepy man's hair. As he gazed at the clouds from his perch, yawns constantly resounded through the area. It was unfortunate that his god-like sensing abilities brought him back to reality. A bunch of strong creatures were suddenly appearing throughout the world. Almost as if they'd all been released at the same time.

'I'm sure the League can handle it. It's why I kept them alive, after all.' He thought.

Today, the young Lockhart had a grand plan. It was so grand that others would be shocked by its splendor! An incredible plot that only a celestial being like him could do…a whole lot of nothing. That was the plan. Rolling around the bed with Alice seemed like a good idea.

Another hour or so passed before he jumped down from his tree branch. Sora took his time leaving the garden. A maid casually passed him a mug of vanilla-infused hot chocolate. This was tradition. This beverage was prepared almost everyday by the maids.

Sora could already see Alice on the other side of the manor. She was in the dressing room alongside her best bud. Harley Quinn. It was a mess in there, with clothes strewn all over the place. The sleepy man wanted to join the fun too!

Halfway through the halls, Lucielle appeared. She waved away the current maid who was following him and took over. Just a little presentation of how the head maid did things. This serious woman always had a glint in her glasses.

"Milord." She greeted with a curtsy.

"...Lucielle."

"I have news."

"...Save it for later." Sora groaned before walking away. The serious maid chased after him.

"But sir, we have guests waiting at the front doors. They won't even go to the waiting room." She continued. The young Lockhart shrugged.

"Then tell them that we're busy and to come again." He concluded.

It was an obvious lie. Even Lucielle knew this. This head maid had just come back from the dressing room where the two beauties were playing dress up. Ignoring orders once again, the serious woman grabbed his sleeve.

"But sir…" Sora raised an eyebrow as she leaned in closer. "These guests are of the supernatural type!" There was a moment of silence.

"Siiiiiiiigh."

Looks like the sleepy man would have to wait a bit longer before he could see his two lovely but insane beauties. Lucielle gave him an expecting look. A maid could only do so much in front of the supernatural. If they didn't want to leave, they wouldn't.

"Milord…"

"Fine. Go prepare some snacks for the mistress and her friend."

Lucielle bowed slightly before scurrying off. Sora cracked his neck before heading over. Once he reached the staircase, he looked over the railing.

The heroes were here. Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Flash, and one more. With the line up that was currently present…Sora's day plans might go up in smoke. The unnamed figure was the only one to notice his gaze.

It was Superman's relative. The same relative that was guarding the man of steel's healing pod. Her death glares were quite something. With such a beautiful frame covered in red and blue, curly blonde hair and electric blue eyes, she was a sight to behold. Not to mention that she was also a kryptonian.

The two watched each other for a moment. Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Flash were still conversing. They were oblivious to the staredown these two were having. Supergirl had yet to put her phone away. It was still in her hand. Teens like her were chronically online, after all.

As he glanced at the screen, he couldn't help but notice the cat video that was playing. It seemed she was into the same things as normal human girls her age. A slight smile tugged at his lips. When she saw where Sora was looking, the blonde kryptonian hid her phone from view. Her glare had intensified, but there was a bit of red now.

Only then did the young Lockhart finally speak. His steps took him down the grand staircase, the noise finally getting the others' attention. The chatter immediately died down.

"What brings you all here to my home? To even refuse to leave until we meet…isn't that a bit much?" He spoke slowly.

"......................."

His words always demanded full attention. It was the only way they could gauge his mood. Flash was the first to speak up. A quick fist bump, then it was all business.

"Hey, Sora. There's just a slight problem. You know how it is. Things are getting a bit out of hand. The usual." He tried to play it off like it wasn't a big deal.

"...If that's the case, you wouldn't be here. Let's just skip the small talk…Why…are you here?"

Flash and Cyborg gulped at those words. It was hard to act normal when said person could easily kill them if given a reason. Diana had a face full of guilt. She stepped up, allowing the red hero to step out of the hot seat.

"Darkstar. We need your help." She finally said.

"...And?" Sora responded. The Amazon grimaced at his disregard for her. Cyborg was next to try.

The half human half machine hero tapped a button on his wrist, causing a hologram to pop up. It was a model of Earth. The globe. Red dots could be seen all over. Only then did Cyborg speak.

"Mythological creatures have been appearing all over the planet. They seem to all be of Greek origin."

"I see…So?" The sleepy man suppressed a yawn. Flash squirmed a bit before trying again.

"O-Our members are stretched a bit thin. There's too many creatures. Not to mention that they're strong in their own right." He spoke quickly. Sora shook his head.

"...The only times I've acted are when the Earth as a whole is threatened. This isn't one of those times. There's plenty of powerful figures in hiding that will come out to protect their homes and loved ones." Sora explained. Diana spoke up.

"Sora, please. I know that we're the last people that you want to see…But we need you. Please help us."

"Correct. I don't wish to see you guys at all. The door is that way." The young Lockhart gestured to the entrance.

At this moment, Supergirl stomped up to him. She was the only one that didn't act polite. With her hands on her hips and her now permanent death stare, she barked at him.

"Is this all you amount to? Letting humanity go extinct just for your ego?!" She yelled. Sora glared in return.

"My ego…is why the Justice League is still alive. I've already said humanity won't go extinct. Is your head okay?"

His words made Kara scowl. Her face turned red with anger. Not even thinking about her actions, she grabbed him by the collar. By this point, the other heroes were sweating through their clothes. Supergirl didn't understand how dangerous this was.

"So just because humanity won't go extinct, you'll let millions die?! How can you have all this power and not use it when it's needed?! What kind of hero are you?!" She screamed directly in his face.

The surrounding temperature suddenly grew extremely cold. Each of the heroes could suddenly see the vapor of their breaths. Sora's pressure slowly spilled into the room. The heroes grunted along with Kara. She still didn't let go of his collar. The sleepy man glared into her eyes. His expression was cold.

"...It seems like you've misunderstood something, little girl. I never called myself a hero."

Only now could the blonde kryptonian see just how menacing this guy was. As the seconds dragged out, Sora resembled a powerful deity more and more. His body grew brighter and power flared in his golden eyes.

Still, Kara didn't back down. She didn't look away from his divine gaze. With a quick nod to a specific side of the building, she smirked at him.

"Hmph. Is that why you let a villain stay in your home?" She revealed. Sora raised an eyebrow.

'Ah…right. X-ray vision.' He thought.

"Don't pester me about the morals of heroes and villains. I don't care. If we get along, we get along." The celestial being answered.

The powerful pressure immediately disappeared. The annoyed Lockhart slapped Kara's hand away and fixed his collar. Only then did he look at the rest of the sweating heroes.

"...I'll look into the matter, but I'll do it my way. You all can leave now."

Flash nodded and got ready to leave with the others. Before he stepped out the door, he spoke again. Barry's gaze was facing the exit.

"Before you go and do your own thing, try to hit Metropolis first. Supergirl is doing her best to make up for Superman's absence." With those words, he left.

That left only Kara and Sora. The two glared at each other once again. Still, it seemed like something had changed.

"I already told you that being on your phone for too long is bad. Your brain will rot." He commented.

"What I do on my phone isn't your business." She responded quickly. It was as if they'd talked about this already.

"Siiigh. Sure, sure."

".............................."

"You have some balls. Balls of steel to be exact. Where's your manners? No home training?" He mocked. Supergirl clenched her fists.

"Hmph. I have more balls than you. And my t-thing is bigger too!" She retorted. Or tried to. She wasn't good at shit talking. Her cheeks were already turning red from saying it. Sora leaned in close.

"...Are you trying to shit talk me? When did I allow you to speak like that? I don't like it. Hmmm…you must be in need of a spanking." A slight smile tugged at his lips.

"Wha-"

Hearing his words, she immediately backed away. Kara huffed while leaving the manor. The sleepy man could only see the red of her ears as she blasted into the sky and disappeared. A sonic boom was left in her wake.

Sora could no longer suppress his yawn as he finally left the area. A smirk gave way as he thought of how quickly she'd left. It was unknown what had truly happened between them when they first met. Deep in the Batcave…just the two of them.

That was my last saved chap. Siiigh now I have to write again =/
