Chapter 17: Launching Day

I must’ve been exhausted since I slept the entire night and only woke up close to nine in the morning. I jumped from the bed, thinking I was late for work but remembering right after that the entire office had the day off, so we could prepare for the party at night.
However, as the owner, I had some final things to check, so resting wasn’t a luxury I could afford. I was feeling well as if I hadn’t fainted the night before. I just had a mild headache, but after I grabbed a strong cup of coffee and a few banana pancakes, it vanished completely, allowing me to focus on my tasks for the day.
Thankfully, I had an amazing team at Cherry Fay Cosmetics, so when I got to the venue where the party was being held, everything was already taken care of. Sienna had suggested we do the launching with a boho chic theme—since this would be our Fall collection—so we picked an outdoor venue with lots of green.
