CHAPTER 14

The guys asked me to stay for a bit after the meeting. They showed me their practice room, it was spacious and nice. We tried calling Haeun at the company but she was busy. They showed me the choreographies for their new album. I smiled as I cheered on their performance, it was still amazing to me that I had celebrities as my friend, and of course as a boyfriend too.

"Do you like it?" Yeonjun asked as he sat beside me. I handed him a cup of water.

"I love it! I'll make sure to support you on every stage," He smiled and leaned close, he planted a kiss on my forehead.

I looked to my side when I heard gagging sounds. The others were sitting around in circles looking completely disgusted while we just laughed.

"You love birds never fail to give me nightmares," Soobin mumbled.

"As if you don't have someone to do it with," We laughed at his flustered face.

"Let's go somewhere else," Yeonjun took my hand and led me out of the room. I blushed as the members hollered behind us.

"Don't mind them," Yeonjun chuckled. We went inside the elevator and he pressed the top floor. He pulled me close to him and side-hugged me.

"I miss you,"

"I miss you too," I replied, getting on my tip-toe and kissing his cheeks, I giggled as his cheeks turned red.

The elevator door opened and we went out, it was a roof garden. I let go of his hand and looked around, it was so beautiful. I turned around and exclaimed,

"You have been keeping this from me!" Yeonjun laughed and held my hand again.

"It was our group's idea to put a garden here, we even planted some tomatoes here,"

"I never thought your building would be this big. Is that not a tree?" He just laughed and nodded.

I stayed at the company for a while, the manager dropped me off after dinner. Mom was already home when I got home and I realized I had not filled her in on whatever was happening.

"Did you have dinner?" I nodded and sat down beside her, I looked at the papers scattered around her. I picked them up and arranged them.

"Do you have something to tell me?" I stopped with whatever I was doing, Moms and their intuition.

"Uh... I don't know where to begin," I replied.

"I have time to listen," She said putting her files down and facing me. Her face was laced with concern, she probably realized it was not going to be a good thing. I tried my best to tell her everything in detail. Mom listened to every word carefully, her expression getting grimmer as I mentioned the stalker.

"They never tried to hurt you physically?" I shook my head in response.

"I trust Yeonjun and I know he'll keep you safe. But I want you to be careful and to be always attentive to your surroundings, make sure you always bring something with you in case something happens,"

"Yes Mom, I'll be more careful," I hugged her and went inside my room to get change.

"Honey, your uncle called and asked if you could fetch his medicines from the hospital?" I was watching the television when Mom came in.

"Sure, I got nothing to do today anyway,"

"He'll pick it up after work," I made an OK sign and walked out, not bothering to get change.

The weather was nice and it was the perfect day to have a picnic. Oh, a picnic date! That would be so perfect. But, I reckoned Yeonjun will have time amidst his busy schedule. I arrived at the hospital by bus and I went straight to the counter to ask where I could fetch the medicines.

They asked me to wait for a bit so I sat down on a chair, while I was waiting a girl came in, she looked oddly familiar. I kept on stealing glances at her as she talked to one of the nurses.

"I'll pay more next week, please take good care of my mom," The girl said and turned around, Eunsoo? She didn't see me as she rushed out.

They called my name and gave me the medicines. As I walked out of the hospital, I saw Eunsoo again. She was using her phone, I know I shouldn't bother, it was none of my business but I still moved near her while hiding behind a wall.

"You know I could be in jail because of this right?" I had a feeling what she said had something to do with me and Yeonjun.

"I already gave you enough pictures... I will! Just give me time..." She looked frustrated, she wore her cap and walked away.

So I was right, I had a feeling that only Eunsoo cannot be in this whole situation, then who was it? The ones she worked with. I snapped out of it and quickly walked to where Eunsoo went. She hadn't gone that far so I followed her while keeping my distance. Oh, how the roles had changed. She walked inside a parking lot and I followed.

"Alanna?" A voice called before I could go in too.

"Taehyun? What are you doing here?" I asked, he was wearing a mask and hat.

"I visited my sister, she's living in this building," He replied.

"Did you bring a car?"

"No, but my sister gave me her car keys, I need to fetch her something," I took his hand and pulled him inside the parking lot, I crouched down and told Taehyun to do it too. He looked confused but did it anyway.

"What are we doing?" He whispered, I shushed him and motioned him to follow me. I looked around and found Eunsoo hiding behind a car.

"Where is the car?" I asked, whispering. He pointed to the car next to the one we were hiding behind. We moved slowly towards it, I took a glance at Eunsoo, she was not paying attention to her surroundings except to the entrance of the parking lot from the inside.

Taehyun pushed the key into the car and slowly opened it, we got in, trying not to make noise.

"Alanna, what is it?" He asked, I motioned him to sit down a bit lower.

"I went to the hospital for my uncle and I saw Eunsoo there, I think her mom is in the hospital. I also heard her talking on the phone and she's working with others, so I had to follow her," I explained.

"So you stalk your stalker," I nudged him but ended up smiling, it was kinda funny regardless.

"Why do you think she's there?"

"I don't know, maybe stalk some celebrity?" I replied.

"My sister talked about the actor living in her building," We shared a knowing glance, and I took out my phone and took a video.

The entrance opened and two people came out, I recognized one of them as an actor, he was holding hands with a girl. I only focused the camera on Eunsoo who was taking photos of them, and also on her surroundings.

"Do you think she's selling those?" I asked and Taehyun nodded in return, after the couple drove off, Eunsoo came out of her hiding spot. We hid as she went past the car.

"Let's go to the company, we have to show them that," Taehyun said and started the car.

"What about your sister?"

"She'll survive," He shrugged and drove off.
