Chap 1.That Night

"Julia, Hurry...!! Aren't you going to be late for school ?? my mother screamed from downstairs .

"Make sure to pack your belonging for your school and dress up for your school. You're gonna be late, sweety...!! she screamed again as if to remind me again.

This is me, Julia,17 year old girl soon to hit late adolescence and get into some renowned college.

" Ugh,mom, why do we have to go to school everyday ", I groaned.

"Isn't it OK to miss out few days of school yo hang out with your family to have some quality time. Don't you think so, Mom." I tried to pled for a day off, which was met with grimaced look of my mother as if to say how much she hated that idea in itself.

When my plea was met with disregard, I had no choice, other than, stepping out of my bed and bed and get ready for school.

My mother was cooking breakfast for me, so decided to take a shower and get dressed up for school as she served me the dishes.

Today, our summer holidays end.

As we are about to start a new session, I pack my belongings and have breakfast.

My mother sat down with me, to teach me some morals that she has instilled me with.

Julia, I know, you are about to start your new session.There are some rules I have to remind you of.

First and foremost, No boyfriend until you get into a college.

Secondly, I want to you to be calm and collected. Don't act high and mighty as no one knows what future holds. So, always be grateful for everything.

Besides this, Always try to work hard for your studies.

It seems, now, you need to hurry up. Else you are gonna miss bus.

Over the past few years, it was single mom that brought me up, while facing the hardships of demise of her life partner. She was in distraught due to incident that took father's life that, she always had a hard time coming back to reality.

"Dad must be waiting for you, " I shook my head, in order, to deny the existence of someone, who was long gone.

She was dogged on the idea of his existence that started to hallucinate her ,a lot of times.

which led to disputes here and there.
