Part 34

And so the weekend finally arrived. So, staying another night in my lab with Chiaki while playing games rather than developing as usual, but although it's more developmental as well, it's in the entertainment side. In the morning after gathering everyone near the academy gate, separating a small group with Chiaki who I gave my shopping card to, which included Fuyuhiko who would show me where my house was, and also taking the food Teruteru had prepared, we went to my place with a cheerful mood in our little group. Unfortunately, Ryota was again swamped with work and couldn't make it today, but Nagito was told everything so now he was walking beside me with a happy smile.

"What a hulk!" - Soda exclaimed as we approached the house.

"It looks like my summer house." - Sonja added, hinting that it was relatively small compared to her main house.

"So, this is what a citadel of darkness looks like. Now when I have to strike my final blow against the lord of the mortal lands, I will know the way to this place." - Said Gandam of now knowing where, my home is.

"As expected of Matsuda-san, his talent could not allow him to live in an ordinary apartment." - Nagito commented.

Silent on all those expressions, I opened the door. Almost as soon as the door began to open, I heard someone's hurried footsteps from the top floor and after a couple of dozen seconds, when everyone had already had time to take off their shoes, the owner of those footsteps herself appeared.

"Yasuke!!!" - pounced on my neck this possessor, who, of course, couldn't have been anything but ------. "I missed you."

"Yeah, me too." - I hugged her and lowered her to the ground.

This gave me a better look at her, though she hadn't grown much and reached my chin level, but her hair already looked more canonical and her two ponytails came down to just below her shoulders, another couple of months and they would be the original line, which was the same timing. She was now wearing a tight blue t-shirt with a picture of a teddy bear face that didn't hide her hourglass-shaped waist at all. She was wearing short shorts the same color as the T-shirt on her thighs, which also made her heel stand out quite a bit, and she had brown fluffy bear-shaped slippers on her fingernails.

"Hi!" - finally turned ------ to the whole crowd I'd brought. "I take it this is your class?"

"Yes." - for the sake of decorum, I said.

"It's nice to finally meet seven of you. Yasuke has been revealing a lot about you." - She immediately showed her sociable side.

"STOP..." - Soda said in shock. "You're ------ -------!!! I've seen you in {}"

"Yes, I am!" - she said, putting two V-shaped fingers in front of her eye. "------ ------- myself. Nice to meet you!"

And I should point out that when ------ turned her back to everyone to show them where everything was, most of the guys started staring at her figure without any conscience, and here even Gandam couldn't help himself. The only one who wasn't looking, of course, was Nagito, unless she had the word "Hope" written on her in big letters, he wouldn't look at her. Even so, I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed by this attention at ------.

After that went already the main wave of dating ------ where everyone introduced himself to her, and then she took from all in the living room, where there was already covered most of it, and about raising the mood and relieve embarrassment could no longer worry, ------ was a master at getting people around her to relax. If you put it that way, she was "her own man" for just about everyone. Especially with people who were not particularly difficult to talk to.

And of course, the person she was the most likely to get on with was Mikan, whom I spent a lot of time with outside of class, raising her classification, and though at the surgery. So of course, she was curious to see how I was behaving with her and if I wasn't really hounding her too much. That said, of course, she pretty much never forgot about any of the others and always kept the topic of conversation alive. I also think she was successfully able to translate the "what is she doing here practically naked" question or forget about her altogether. Unless, of course, you count the suspicious Mahiru look she occasionally threw at me. She probably thinks I'm keeping her here by force...

About twenty minutes later, the rest of the group arrived with full shopping bags. Fuyuhiko and Peko went ahead to unpack the purchases, already knowing every room in the house, though no one noticed except me and everyone was looking at ------ who was actively getting to know the others. And I noticed Chiaki's incredulous gaze on ------.

"What are you doing here?" - she asked Chiaki's question as we all sat down in front of the TV, and she herself sat down next to ------, who was sitting next to me. So that question piqued everyone's interest.

"I?" - said uncomprehendingly ------ playing with words. "I live here!" - she said proudly.

After saying ----- I noticed Soda and Teruteru giving me the thumbs up, while trying to do so without anyone seeing.

"What's your relationship with Yasuke?" - Chiaki asked an overly tense question that clearly didn't fit into the atmosphere or the conversation. I guess she doesn't have much experience with conversations, and on serious topics even less so.

"Well, that's a tough question." - said ------ tapping a finger on her cheek and flicked a quick glance at me, making sure of something for herself.

Looking at the thoughtful ------ who was also pondering with the answer, which caused all the talk to subside and wait for the answer with interest. So, I realized that I had to somehow extricate myself from this situation. Taking the remote control, which to my glory was lying next to me and ------ saw it perfectly well, I turned on the TV. Because of that in the silence that enveloped the room there were abrupt sounds of music and songs, because of which everyone abruptly turned their heads to the TV, and those who were very impressionable even jumped on the spot. After that everyone looked at me with my hand outstretched and the remote control held by this hand.

There was a group of idol on TV and one of them was very familiar to me. It was an attractive girl with long dark blue hair that was tied in two ponytails with bangs, a pink bow on her right side, and dark blue eyes. She wore a pink and pale dress with a pink bow and ruffles underneath, ending above the middle of her hips, a transparent black bandage on her right arm and a white and fluffy bandage on her left arm. She also wore pale pink knee-length boots on her feet. Sayaka Maizono, "Ultimate Idol" and the first one to be killed in the entire series

"He's my only family." - said gently ------ finally dispelling all that tension.

At that moment I was sure of one thing. She meant it sincerely. Knowing who she was, I still sometimes had my doubts about her words, and even the system could not give a truthful answer, because she could just kill me in order to share her despair with me, and that would be good for her. Nothing in my body could deny these words, not even my intuition, which could see and predict anything, not one of my Ultimates or skills denied her words.

Even though I was still staring at the TV with the same cold stare I was sure there was a blush on my cheeks that almost everyone noticed, well, except Akane who was facing one of the meat portions. These words were indeed pleasing to my heart. Unconsciously I wanted to hug her to show that it was mine and to confirm my words, but with difficulty, but I restrained myself.

After that the atmosphere of fun was able to return to our company, but the most tragic was that ----- did not say a word and looked at me with devils in his eyes, I think after these words no one wanted to embarrass her even more so tried not to ask her anything. Ten minutes later, when everyone had had time to fill their stomachs and started getting ready to plug in the console and prepare the space. At that moment ------ hissed and began to lean toward Chiaki, specifically her ear.

"Which I am ready to share with you." - she whispered, continuing her last sentence and purposely louder than necessary so that I could hear it. After that she shot me a look, but for that look she lingered a little longer than necessary so that I could see her eyes, which took on the visual effect of hearts and exuded an aura of excitement. "Let me help you and show you how to play!!!" - already said loudly ------ and jumped up from her seat running to help set up the console.

I was left sitting in my seats, looking a little stunned, and a completely red-faced Chiaki, who couldn't even look up to look at me. But it was worth noting that she didn't show the slightest objection or rejection to the idea, though perhaps she was just as shocked as I was. We sat in such an embarrassed stupor for about ten minutes, but, to our mutual delight, the class finally noticed that we were gone and dragged us both closer to the TV.

Chiaki didn't win a single round all day.

Of course, we didn't sit in front of the console all day and ------ gave most of the class a tour, so some students scattered all over the house. Some got in the gym, some guys didn't hesitate to get in the pool, but no girls since they didn't have a swimsuit and they went to the room ------ and I don't know what they did there, but they also took a still stunned Chiaki. So now it was just me and Fuyuhiko playing the console.

After playing Fuyuhiko one more time, and fighting the urge to throw the gamepad at the TV, I put it on the table in front of me and looked at the window behind which the sunset was already visible.

"So, what did ------ say to you both that made you get up so much?" - Fuyuhiko began the conversation.

"You better not ask." - I exhaled in desperation over what he'd noticed.

"She's spinning you any way she wants." - Fuyuhiko commented.

"You know she isn't and she knows it herself." - And it was true. She had never yet put her own interests before mine, nor had she ever tried to change my mind, even though she didn't like it.

"Yes. But Natsumi says she leads her through." - He tried to get out of it.

"And Natsumi says she saw you sleeping with Byakuya in your arms?" - I said, pulling out my phone and shoving it in his face.

"Bastard." - Fuyuhiko completely lost it and put his gamepad away, too. "Let's go for a swim too."

"Yeah." - I could hear the sounds of fun from the pool, too.

"If anything, Peko and I are staying here tonight, no particular desire to go back to the academy," it wasn't basically the first time he'd stayed here, and Peko just didn't want to leave him.

"If the others don't want to either, you'll have to sleep with someone else in your arms again." - I teased him.

"This is the first time they've been to your house, do you really think they have the conscience to stay here overnight?" - Fuyuhiko said reasonably.

He was very wrong. Only four people left. An Ultimate impostor who was going to check on Ryota while taking some food to give him a treat. The little one who just didn't want to stay because of her temper. Mahiru left with the words "I'm not going to stay sleeping in a man's house and neither should you." This of course was a reference to ------ and Mikan who almost cried over the sentence and ran away while shouting apologies and goodbyes, as I remember she was often mocked, so it looked dangerous on her part and even though she knew it would be okay, she couldn't bring herself to do it.

Basically, they were all well apart ------- and all the remaining girls locked themselves in her room and good thing there were only five of them, with a few cans of ice cream and all night from there you could hear the whispering and giggling. And luckily, Fuyuhiko got him a spare room after all. Nekomaru wasn't going to get out of the gym, Soda managed to fall asleep in the chair, and the sofa was a good place for Teruteru to sleep. So Nagito and Gandam got empty rooms, too.

So, I fell asleep in complete peace. It was a little unaccustomed to falling asleep alone, and I felt an uncomfortable cold in my right side, but that was okay.

The next morning, I woke up, as strange as it was for me, not because it was time to get up, but because of the phone, which beeped with an incoming call. Normally, of course, it's hard to wake me up because of the sleep system, but it's still possible, I thought to myself, reaching for the phone.

"Yes." - I said in my usual voice, even though I'd been woken up, I hadn't felt a drop of fatigue before.

"Come to the steering committee office in an hour." - came Jin-san completely serious voice.

"I'll be there even sooner." - I said as I hung up, since I knew that Jin-san never calls just like that, and that meant it was something serious.

After getting dressed and going through all the rooms to check just in case someone suffocated in a pillow, I left a note on the fridge, ------ and I even had a special place for such notes and with a restless soul I went to the academy, knowing roughly what I was about to hear. Status.

- [Status.]

- [Stamina: 216]

- [Charisma: 220]

- [Luck: ∞+3]

- [Intelligence: 276]

- [Free Points: 135]

Yes. Over the past ten years I have not badly so developed and hopefully enough, because lately it has become incredibly difficult to raise even one point in the characteristics, there is of course free points, but I have no desire to spend them and the level is a couple of months, so I think more results I will not be able to achieve. Health certainly seems great, but a shot to the body with a pistol takes about 5000, so for my body is normal.

Looking at the specs makes me proud, and I really put a huge amount of time and effort into this. Some of them were added with talents, others with clothing. So, these numbers, which are above average, are normal. My status, of course, looked with little information, but I simply turned off everything unnecessary, as it only makes you read more.

Funny thing is, of course, that I opened my status for the first time in a year, as this whole system has become a daily routine in my life for all this time and check it every day was not so interesting, there is no desire to even look at what is there on talents, skills and abilities. Just a waste of time.

Besides, I was already up on the steering committee floor.

"Knock" "Knock" "Knock"

I knocked and opened the door without waiting for an answer. I saw a familiar office and familiar-looking people who looked too serious. And there was even Tengan-san whose presence told me everything. There was also one empty chair just for me. Walking over to it, I sat down on it while lounging imposingly.

"So, tell me." - I began the conversation.

And the current director of the academy started the conversation. It took about an hour.

"...That's it. We want you to be the one to do the operation." - He finished and stopped talking, looking at me with a serious face.

And just as I suspected it was Project Hope Development, I began to ponder as I closed my eyes. It was good to be given time to think. It didn't sound like something new to me. Mostly, of course, I was told about the project itself about the results and all the hundreds of years that the academy had existed, and that this academy had worked for this moment. To create the Izuru Kamukura "Ultimate Hope" who would become the hope of humanity. And just as I thought it wasn't some evil plan to take over the world, it was just fanatics going for a plan to help humanity and although it certainly sounded like an evil plan to take over the world, I didn't sense that from anyone. So they were truthful and confident in what they said. They didn't even kidnap people for the sake of it, they wanted it out of written consent and even gave them time to think it over.

The question is whether I should be the one to do it. I don't think I would feel remorse for practically killing a person, and I certainly wouldn't be bothered by words like humanity and humanity. I've long since dismissed all that myself, not in a bad way of course, but directly I'm more concerned that Izuru could bring huge problems in the indefinite future. There's also just a huge chance that's the only reason I've been left here.

But of course, I see not only negative things here, but also enormous advantages for myself. The first of course is that I will cease to owe them, even if I have at least or have left some debt for all these three years, but I can also leave them in debt and get even more privileges, I think there will be no closed seats for me at the Academy. And of course, even if I refuse, it won't change anything. They can create Izuru without my help, which could cause me to miss out on the perks as well as lose credibility and even make enemies.

So, I think both options carry equal weight for me. Unless, of course, they agree to my personal condition. Which I've decided to tell them.

"On one condition." - I was silent when I saw Jin-san nod, so I decided to continue. "My Ultimate will not be in this chimera. I'm sure you have a huge pile of medical-related talents."

"Yasuke..." - Jin-san was silent and looked at everyone else, waiting for them to give slight nods of agreement. "We agree."

"Then I agree, too." - I relaxed into the kremlin unbeknownst to them. "Has anyone agreed yet?"

"No." - He shook from side to side and pulled out a folder from under the table and handed it to me. "No one has agreed to it yet, but there's still time until the end of the year before the students have to give their final answer. This folder contains all the people we've made this offer to."

I began flipping through the pages. To my surprise, there weren't many students, only five. Among them, of course, was Hajime. After looking at all the people more closely, I realized that they were completely different from each other, so there must be some hidden criterion for this list. And most likely that criterion is an inferiority complex or something like that.

"Later on, I'll send you all the information that we have, and when somebody gives consent, we'll get back to you. That should be around the end of the year." - Jin-san said his last words.

At that, I just had to nod and go home. When I came back, some people were still asleep. After saying hello to everyone, I saw the worried look in my eyes at ------ who knew that I hadn't just left because of something.

(Time Skip.)

To my surprise, a few more months had passed since then, and the annual exams for the students were nearing. I was, of course, offered to leave my position a couple of times, but I did not agree, which in principle no one objected to, and they were all for it. I think it was safe to say that I enjoyed being a teacher, and moreover it did not interfere much in my daily life. It won't be forever, of course, but at least I have until the end of the year to finish them, otherwise leaving Chizu in the reserve course is already becoming not very pleasant.

And today was the start of another school week. I had managed to train with Sakura a couple of dozen times in those few months, not that I had anything to show for it, but I had performed much better than Nekomaru and Akane, especially in our last training session. To my surprise, I didn't even faint once, though I'm not sure if that can happen. And the most unpleasant thing was that I was completely overwhelmed in technique and experience, I may have had some advantages in a few characteristics, but my experience only ended with Juzo. So, it was a good chance to pick up some experience.

Also, one of the most significant things was that I finally finished {} and I really didn't know where it would have to be applied or when, so for now it was just lying around in my office. Also, girls from my class started coming over to our house way too often, and if anything, they went to ------ and almost every weekend a bunch of girls came running into our house and locked themselves in the ------ room. This of course leaked out and the rest of the class, which consisted of the less beautiful sex, then also began to come to my house, which I basically did not mind much.

And of course, the rest of my friends came over sometimes too, and even Mikan and shallow seemed to have put their feuds aside, thanks of course to ------, who could brainwash me both literally and figuratively. Of course, everyone came, except for Byakuya, who was literally up to his ears in business because he had to go to the academy and had a lot of stuff to deal with, so our meetings were mostly at all the cool parties I was invited to or we just talked on the phone. And we'd send Byakuya pictures of me and Fuyuhiko relaxing and having fun, and he'd get mad and tell us to go away sometimes.

I also finally understood why Chisa and Juzo decided to stay at the academy. They probably knew something was going on in the shadows of this academy, or rather Kyosuke realized it and added them to his plan because he couldn't be present at the academy himself. I think that's why they've been whispering for the last few weeks before graduation, and Chisa doesn't seem as active as usual.

And as disgusting as it sounds, I wasn't going to tell them anything. Because they couldn't change anything and would only get more trouble than good, so the only thing I could do was make sure they didn't get hurt in the meantime and get in too deep. And that's why I was now walking toward the reserve course in order to give Chisa and Juzo some pills that might replenish the energy in their bodies and improve their immunity with health a little.

When I got to the backup course, I indulged in a bit of reminiscing about how much Kyosuke and I had put into this. Tengan-san was also here, of course, but he was more of a moral coach and helped with advice, which of course made our results much faster and better. And the funny thing is that Kyosuke probably only realized about the darkness that is in the school because I invited him to this project.

After breathing a little fresh air, I walked into the reserve course building with confidence in my steps, looking for Chisa. But before I could find her, I heard a couple of familiar voices, several of them shouting, all coming from the same office, with a crowd of students gathered in front of it.

When I peered through the doorway, I saw an interesting picture. Natsumi was standing there with her fury on her face and her fist over Mahiru who was sticking her arm out in an attempt to defend herself and trembling with fear while trying to protect some girl from the reserve class who was most likely going to get hit. And as I understand it, it was Mahiru friend that she went to see. And all of this was watched by Hajime, who was sitting at his desk with a dazed face and a bun and milk in his hands.

After Mahiru realized that nothing would happen to her, she opened her eyes and taking the hand of her friend tried to escape, but unfortunately for her there was me in the doorway. And when she came to the door and tried to push me away, it was only then that she realized who was standing in front of her and with an unpleasant face began to take steps back, still holding the hand of her friend.

I, of course, did not let this moment pass me by and also began to make steps forward with my authority. This, of course, could not help but elicit most of the stares and whispers around the class as well. When I got Mahiru backward gait to Natsumi, I finally stopped, causing her to stare at me with a tense look on her face as well.

"Slap" "Slap" "Slap" "Slap"

There were four thumps in the classroom. Which caused the four students in front of me to grab the back of their heads. Yeah, I slapped all four of them. Clearly there was a lot of tension here and as far as I remember Fuyuhiko sister was killed, so this moment was probably the starting point for that.

"Yasuke!!!" - Natsumi yelled at me holding the back of her head. "What did you hit me for!"

"I know you very well." - I said calmly. "Most likely what happened here was your initiative."

"And what did you hit us for, you damned hubby!!!" - Shouted Mahiru.

"For participating in this." - Still calmly I replied.

"And me!!! I didn't say a word at all." - Hajime exclaimed.

"For the company. And anyway, you could have separated them or calmed the situation down." - Just like I did now. Transferring all their anger onto myself and dispelling their hatred for each other by creating a common enemy. "And you could have thanked me! In case you didn't know, slaps are a way of transmitting information from the old generation..."

"We're the same age." - Natsumi interjected.

"... To the younger one." - I didn't notice what she said. "So, you could have thanked me, and you could have thanked Mahiru every day at all since I'm your teacher."

"W-WHAT?" - Mahiru was shocked, most likely imagining something wrong in her head.

"And since I am a teacher, I must give you all a punishment for making such a scene here." - I wondered. "What penalties have I been drawing up there for violations of the rules in the Reserve Course."

"Compiled?" - Mahiru friend didn't understand.

"Three people, one of whom I was the creators of the Reserve Course." - I said calmly, causing a wave of whispers to pass through the classroom. "It seems the most serious punishment was to kick you out of the academy. And you Mahiru is no exception. If the teacher decides, he can safely expel a student of the main course because of their mistakes."

There was a tense atmosphere in the whole class after my words. And I must say that the bulk of this atmosphere was happy, and came from all the students except the four that I'm scaring with the exception. Well, it's understandable for them, after all, a student of the main course can be kicked out, so there will be room for them.

"I-it's all my fault!" - Mahiru friend exclaimed. "Mahiru is in this situation because of me. So, you can kick me out, but don't touch Mahiru!"

"That doesn't change anything." - I said sternly, looking at the others and especially at Hajime's face, which was full of fear. Natsumi, of course, knew I was scary, but she also knew she wouldn't get away with it. "But since one of you is my student, the other was willing to sacrifice herself for her friend, which is nothing short of respectful. One of you is my friend, and we'll take one more for company, so we'll solve this situation with an easier punishment."

"Yes! /Yes! /Yes! /Yes! " - they all nodded in confirmation of this decision.

"Then 100 laps around the academy to get your activity down and your bad thoughts out with the sweat." - When they realized what I meant, fear began to appear on their faces. "And if anyone finishes early, they'll keep running until everyone finishes."

"W-what?" - Natsumi almost cried.

"So right after class you go to my lab. Mahiru knows where it is." - I pointed my finger at the girl. "So she'll pick you up if you don't know where it is."

At this point I decided to turn around and walk away, showing that this was the final decision and it didn't belong to me. And as if remembering something, I stopped abruptly and turned my head over my shoulder to look at them. Consciously, of course, I turned on my fear aura, which had managed to pump up pretty good lately.

"And yes, just a warning." - I said, looking at the shaking students. "If I see anything like that again, I'll sew your mouths together with each other's asses, and you'll be a human centipede. I hope everyone has seen this movie?"

Turning my head back around, I was already sure to walk toward the exit already forgetting that I was looking for Chisa. But before I did, I heard part of the conversation before I left.

"Does he always throw body-related threats?" - Mahiru said with fear.

"No. It's not a threat, it's a promise." - Natsumi said with the same fear in her voice. "After all, he's perfectly confident that he can do it."

I couldn't hear any more, but I was sure the conversation didn't end there. I didn't find Chisa or Juzo today.

Already in the evening I met the four delinquents at my lab. They didn't look so hostile to each other anymore, but there was an aura of doom around them. So, after setting a drone behind each student and putting bracelets on their hands that counted the laps, I sent them off to carry out their punishment, while I returned to the lab myself, running the camera feed on one screen, and on the other screen was a new game that Chiaki, who was sitting to my right, had brought.

Of course, so they wouldn't be lazy, I occasionally gave them an electric arc from the droid, which cheered them all up from time to time. And I have to hand it to you, by morning they were all done. The first person to finish was Natsumi, which is what I expected, she must have great physical fitness. Then lagging behind by only a couple of dozen minutes, came Hajime, which showed his not bad training, which of course is good, but not for me, but Mahiru and her friend had to run about 50 more laps.

And this was noticed by those who had already run. So, after a few laps, Natsumi picked up Mahiru and Hajime her friend and helped them run the remaining laps. That's what I wanted to achieve. Cohesion between the students! That's what I say if anyone asks me why I make them run at night. So, when they were done, I used the speakers to tell them to come to me. They leaned on each other and staggered toward me.

"You all did great. Well done!" - I said with fake happiness. "So, in the future I hope you don't have any misunderstandings between each other."

To this they, tired, dirty, sleep-deprived and completely morally ruined, had only to nod.

"All right. Everyone dismissed, and don't forget that you have class today." - I cheered them on, after all, three of them were from the reserve course where attendance was mandatory.

"EEEEEEEEE!!!" - they perked up in shock.

"Ya-Yaske!" - Natsumi squeaked. "Please!"

"Okay. I'll let your teachers know you're not coming today." - I'm not a monster after all. "But besides you Mahiru. You have to contact your class teacher yourself."

"Yasuke-sensei I won't be able to attend class today due to excessive physical exertion." - Mahiru almost whispered to herself under her breath, practically falling off her feet.

"Good." - I hope she doesn't remember that. "You'll have a hard time getting to your dorms so you can sleep at my place. Come on in."

After putting them all on the hospital beds and leaving them each with a little map of how to get out of here, and after writing to Miaya and Seiko that we had sick people lying around and they should take care of them, I went off to play with Chiaki with a clear conscience. But in principle, we didn't play for very long, because we had to go to class in an hour. So, I picked up Chiaki asleep in my arms again and went to class.

I got lost, I should have put out a chapter today or tomorrow. But it's okay if I do it today.

But anyway... There are only 2 chapters left to write in.... so to speak in the first season of chapters. Then there will be a break where I'll be writing season 2 and I'm not sure how long that will take.

But so far in season 2, there are already 15 chapters that I've written in the two months since I released the first chapter, and I'm getting close to completing the second chapter of the game. And these chapters are... you know, very decent ones, like 10 pages each, so there's actually a lot more.

Thank you for reading!
