Chapter 61 - Mistake

Erix has never been someone who would save a person without expecting something in return considering he has a business mindset, especially during his time back on Overlord Earth when he ran his company. Fortunately, he can see through many things including falsehood meaning it was difficult for anyone to hide their intention from him. 

Still, in a world like the one he is currently in doesn't care about politics and conspiracy when destroying it was rather easy. Meanwhile, everyone was looking at him, especially the blonde woman and her friend as they were mesmerized by his presence that seeped into their heart. 

Erix wasn't interfering because he wanted out of pity rather he wanted to test his control and strength to have a perfect master where he won't waste any energy and only use the amount of what he needs similar to Jirin from dragon balls. Amaia and Arryn already regulated it for him but wanted to at least test his own control.

"C-Can you help us!? Please!?" Her friend shouted while Erix remained indifferent and glanced at her sensing something more to her, pondering if his [ Eye of the lord, Adam ] also sees through a person's luck and fate. He didn't think too much believing it is simply his intuition. 

"Hey pal, this is our business! Get lost if you don't want to get hurt!" The other man approached him trying to intimidate Erix and he was surprised to hear his words. He simply showed a toothy grin baring his fangs and his crimson eyes glowed as he gradually chuckled.

"Oh? See, that would be intimidating if you were, well, intimidating." Erix jokingly said where they angrily looked at him. 

"You're dead!" He cocked his fist and rushed toward him but to him, it was extremely slowly that everything appeared to have stopped. Erix couldn't use flashy attacks but he didn't have to when he was already a master in Martial art having the Job for them. 

He simply tapped to the side and instantly slammed into the wall causing a fissure of crack shocking everyone in sight as Erix blinked for a moment realizing what he did. 

"How fragile. It seems I need more control over my strength." Erix shook his head looking at the splattered head of the man while everyone was horrified seeing someone get killed and screamed.

"W-What!? Y-You killed him!" The other man let go of the blonde woman as her friend quickly checked up on him. The two other girls who seem to be with the assaulter were trembling while the girls that Erix helped weren't that frightened because they were affected by his enticement. None of them even tried to escape out of fear and shock. He hardly cares if they run for their life or not since nothing can stop him. 

"Oh, yeah, sorry, can't blame me since it's like trying to hit an ant." Erix nonchalantly grabbed the headless and began to restore its body to normal where he was completely healed looking at him horrified.

"Gaa—" Before he could scream had his mouth covered staring at Erix's blood-soaked eyes.

"Shhh, no need to scream. You're lucky I don't have any use for your soul nor Slaneesh would be entertained hearing you scream. Feel free to go now." Erix said and the man didn't hesitate to run away, forgetting his friends and forever living in constant fear.

"So, you three won't run?" He looked at the other three and they simply fainted on the spot pissing themselves from fear. Erix remains stoic and glances at the other two who are shaking. 

"You two, what's your name? I'm Erix Khan, by the way." Erix introduced himself and the two were too afraid that they immediately answered. 

"Sophie!" The blonde woman answered, staring at him still frightened from what she had witnessed while somehow feeling her heart pounding, misunderstanding it to be fear rather than the effect of his enticement. 

"Anna Hong!" The black haired woman shouted feeling the same thing as her friends and Erix held out his hands. 

[ Calming Aura ]

Erix uses a weak spell that dispels fear, confusion, and any negative emotion associated with what had happened, making them calmer and confusing the two women. 

"What did you do to us?" Sophie asked, feeling rather refreshed and thinking clearly compared to before. She doesn't understand what's happening since everything seems like a fantasy where a man appeared out of nowhere and killed a person with a single strike. 

"Simple spell to calm your mind. Well, I normally erase your memories but I don't really care since I'm just a tourist for now." Erix said, turning his back, grabbing the pack of cigarettes that the man assaulting Sophie had, and lit one as he started to walk away.

"W-Wait, what are you!?" Anna nervously asked even if her mind was clear and calm and still couldn't help but stutter. Erix exhaled a puff of smoke and turned to look at them.

"Me? I'm….a god or maybe the Devil." Erix said before vanishing from their sight leaving them perplexed and trying to understand what had happened even tried to deny it but seeing the fainted people and the crack caused by Erix made it clear that everything was real. 

He was slightly disappointed at how fragile they were when he hardly tried but actually destroyed his head in the process having the same resistance as air. 

[ What does thee expect when power itself transcends mortal? Thou art a True Dragon whose force embodies a living essence of a concept therefore it is to be expected. ] Arryn shared her thoughts. 

'I know, still, it would have been interesting if they could at least take a hit when I was already held back by a massive margin.' Erix said as he considers that his strength is at a concealed state and held back the best he could but it was too unpredictable.

{ Ha! That's why you should rely on us, master. It's not like we will ever leave you. We're forever with you. } Amaia reassured and made Erix smile.

'I'm glad to have you two.' Erix said before returning and found Melascula and Vermeil still at the place where he left them. Vermeil saw him arrive and immediately went up to him.

"Master! Look, isn't it beautiful?" Vermeil showed a necklace that had a large gemstone and Erix nodded.

"Yeah, it matches your hair." Erix's words made Vermeil cling to him even more while Melascula took the other arm. 

"What about mine? I think this fits since I belong to you." Melascula showed a choker and Erix smirked, wrapping his arms around their waist and grabbing their ass causing them to moan. The people's faces that passed by heated up seeing how shameless they were. Men were envious that a man had two beautiful and sexy women by his side while women were envious that they were handsome like him. 

"Not bad, but I might break that in the bed later." Erix whispered into her heart, making Melascula aroused imagining her master breaking her like she does with his woman. They were his concubine and their body belonged to him. The two of them continued to move around the streets looking around.

"It's really interesting to see how these humans, despite their lack of magicules was able to create these unique tools." Melascula looks around seeing television and billboards along with people using their phones. 

"Yeah, there is a lot of delicious tasting food too." Vermeil said as she took a bite of some cheese corn dog. 

"It is what makes humans a creature who can overcome their shortcomings. Unfortunately, it is also their downfall." Erix senses the dust and dirt in the air polluted by the gasses poured into the air. He glances towards the children and people living their lives. 

"Then again, destruction is needed for a new creation." Erix said as he is now the destruction that came down into the world. He was the Diabolos Ex Machina. He is still far from truly understanding this concept of his and reaching the "throne". However, his intuition gave him some sense of what he needed to do in order to bring destruction to open a new creation. 

"Fufufu, are you saying that we should destroy these humans to create a new world in your own design?" Melascula asked and Erix smirked.

"Of course, though, let us wait until we invade this world with our forces. I'm not cruel and might target a place where wars are in place to use to our advantage." From what he senses within the Earth is that a certain country was at war and Erix decided to be in between them to make a debut. 

"Then, we will prepare to stir this human in giving us what we desire." Melascula sadistically smiled, finding the thought of giving an entire world to her master was fun. 

"Yeah! This world would be fun to have in our empire." Vermeil gleefully said, pressing her body against Erix and then leaning closer to his face.

"Also, thank you for bringing us, Master." She gave a passionate kiss to Erix, surprising the people around them and Melascula didn't want to be left out and pulled Vermeil.

"That's enough, it's my turn." Melascula ignored Vermeil's pout and gave a more erotic kiss to Erix where their tongue twisted inside. 

"Hey! If you're going to make out then get a roo—!" A man screamed only for his heart to tighten and collapse to the ground as the people watched him slowly die where Erix stared down at the dying man and died because he met the End. 

"Hey, Melascula! That's enough! Master, can you show us more? I'm quite hungry." Vermeil said as the two stopped and Melascula licked her lips. 

"Yeah, I wanted to try eating some Korean BBQ and Spicy chicken." Erix said as they happily walked beside him and arrived at a spot close by smelling the aroma of BBQ and Spicy Chicken with a lot of people inside. 

They went to look for a table and Erix surprisingly spotted someone familiar who was shocked to see him as he quickly gestured not to say anything as he went to approach them.

"What an interesting twist of fate to meet you two again."
