Drop the pretense, Si Jingyun

Bai Liyue was seated in a soft chair inside a restaurant with Si Jingyun and she was looking at the menu. Her mother was already long gone. The moment they left the store, her mother complained about being hungry. She asked Si Jingyun to take them to a restaurant and Si Jingyun drove them to one.
She complied with them because all this shopping and excitement had made her hungry. Since they were already going to have lunch, Bai Liyue joined them without complaints. However, the minute they stepped inside the restaurant, her mother made an excuse and left them alone.
Few minutes later, Bai Liyue received a text on her phone. It was from her mother saying that she was not feeling well so she left for home. At the same time, she didn't forget to leave an instruction that she was supposed to complete this lunch date with Si Jingyun and then come back to the Chen Mansion.
