Crawling out of hell with my own efforts

Dark green blood sizzled through the quiet streets of Ghiz, a futuristic city made by many countries across the globe in hopes of being a refuge for famous people and political figures.

Alas, this city finished like those figures... corrupt.

But not in the way we know of, a corruption originating from the roots of this very same planet we live in.

A dark miasma started leaking from cracks and sewages of such a city which provoked a change to the foundations of this planet.

The government of many countries made incredibly bad decisions and rich people started to get more and more power. Rich philanthropists gained more voice to the public which caused many of them to unite under one force now called Savers.

Savers started by trying to get used to this miasma over any means necessary, extremely small genetic mutations gradually began to surface over them and was inherited to their blood springs until it went to a point where they were basically immune to the miasma.

However, human beings' territory became smaller and smaller as this process was finished, and animals practically adopted the miasma to become... something else.

They began terrorizing humans, many gained sentience and overwhelmed the food chain, now humans became the very bottom of all and are fighting against the world to survive.

Adam Vlux, one of the Savers became an icon to the human beings. Even though he was born with a "Gift" which was useless for combat, many people despised him according to history, but he was doing his best to make human beings at least survive by many years to come.

He created an academy and became the first teacher of the Savers and with his Gift that allowed him to make a limited amount of "Collective Knowledge" every X years, which helped to preserve the knowledge every member of the academy learned in their whole life.

(His Gift: Gives memories and basic skills to humanity about the person this skill was used on. In summary, it's as if you were inheriting someone else's memory.)

After his passing he left several tomes which contained his skill in hopes to use it on many Savers to come.
