"A fairy-like beauty? Who on earth did you see that made you so happy... Hmph!"
As she heard Basil describe a woman as a "fairy-like beauty," a tinge of jealousy flashed across Xenia's face, thinking, what kind of beauty could make this fickle lothario fall so hard?
"Of course, it's a beauty, and one that really moved my heart," Basil teased, looking at Xenia with a smile.
"Hmph, you really are a fickle lothario, so annoying! Why do you tell me you saw a beauty? I don't like beauties... I—I'm not talking to you anymore!"
Xenia, provoked by Basil's words, stood up angrily and started to walk away.
"Hey, girl, are you jealous?" asked Basil.
"Who's jealous? Not me!" Xenia retorted.
"Don't you want to know who that fairy-like beauty is?"
"I don't want to know, not at all interested!"
Seeing Xenia leaving, Basil quickly got up, took a few steps towards her, and blocked her way.
"What are you doing?" Xenia asked, dissatisfied with Basil.
