The Sunshine's brightly. its powerful rays reflecting off the armour of thousands of soldiers bringing forth a shimmering effect.... different types of soldiers with different clases ranging from archers dressed in a leather jerkins covered by a set of light armour plates, swordsmen dressed in full iron armor each brandishing a sword and a shield bearing a logo of a lion with its flowing mane, axemen all in chainmail, torchbearers also in chainmail each with a pouch hanging over their chests brandishing a huge unlit torch, light and heavy cavalry fully cladded with armour, billsmen dressed like the axemen but each wielding a pike, spearman partially armored for added mobility....

Taking a closer look, their faces are etched with absolute terror, looks of regret and despair each murmuring and lamenting " Why oh why does it have to be the horde. "

Each forcing saliva down he's throat, some barely hiding their shivering legs. one may wonder what could put such divine looking warriors in such a state.

Behold beyond the arisen, a thick cloud of dust is moving closer and closer. dreadful booming war cries echoes all around, it keeps getting louder by the minute . each minutes feels like an eternity in the eyes of the soldiers. large muscular shadowy figures begin to surface as the dust draws closer, utterly drowning the hisses and hushed prayers of the soldiers lost in the cries of the horde.

An Elfin girl riding a white horse is dressed in a short green body hug tunic gown with slits on it's side from the waist downward it has a leaf like design pattern, with green shorts underneath and green stockings that covers the knee down, green little shoes, a gold headband with leaf imprints rests gently on her forehead her hair neatly braided to the tip, she also sports a wooden bow with a thin quiver hung across her waist filled with delicately designed arrows her smooth fair skin is truly a spectacle to behold, beside her is a huge man with thick black well kempt beared, his hair has been folded into a little bun riding an equally huge brown stallion covered to teeth with armour platting, he is also fully armored with three silver stars on his shoulder and a large leather scabbard hung from across his shoulder with his mighty blade in it resting on his back, two women also riding close by each dressed in unique silk dress hidden underneath their hooded cloaks one barely making out their white smooth skin, one has sky blue hair whilst the other is crimson red, the color of their hair matching their eyes and clothes.

The elfin girl rides towards the knights at the forefront of the whole army, one sporting 6 gold stars on his right shoulder and a massive gold lion emblem on the left, the other is a dark skinned man clade in black armour with 4 gold stars on his right shoulder.

" Commander you should do something about the atmosphere, they need a really good well thought out speech right now. " she said.

The six star soldier shakes his head " Squire hand me my periscope. " He says.

A thin blonde boy with a mushroom bowlcut, reaches into his bag and pulls out a silver periscope and quickly hands it to him. he places it on his eyes, then points it at the cloud of dust, Lo and behold hidden underneath the thick cloud of dust huge green muscular beasts with protruding brown tooths of different shapes and sizes, all dressed in different animal hides(furs) barely covering their bodies each of them bearing a unique blood red tattoo.

He shakes his head " that's the horde alright, bunch of ruffians who kill, pillage and rape for fun. "

He puts the periscope down and hands it back to the squire.

" I didn't think they'll ever be so bold as to invade the capital. " the huge guy says as he also rides foward.

" Bold or not their match ends here, the disgusting crimes they've carried against the empire on defenceless villagers shall be avenged. " the black armored knight hotly proclaims.

The Commander races forward " Listen to me everyone, I know some of you are afraid, I'm well aware the numbers do not favour us, I know we all bear doubts about the incoming threat the stakes may be high but -(shot pause) that's what makes us soldiers we go out and fight so our people, our friends, our family, our wives, our children can live a normal life, we put our lives on the line and risk it all so they may live to see the sunrise the next day as free souls, not slaves to the cruel whim of a predator. even if our hearts get ripped out of our chest, our flesh gets gnarled off our bones, our bones crushed to dust we would still get back up and fight, fight for the throne, fight for the kingdom, fight for its legacy -(he pauses) slowly pulling out his sword and yells " FOR IFRIT. "

All the soldiers smack their armours and yell in unison " FOR IFRIT " each person yelling his unique war cry.

The commander rides back to the elf.

"How was that, miss layla. "

She smirks slightly tilts her head " I've seen better. " she says then pushes her golden bangs back.

He shakes his head and smiles " I bet you have. "
