Will Bear the Moon
On a bitter snowy day, three-year-old Empress Anastasia Brokenoff is forced into the lands of Nochten, the homeland of vampires, under the promise she will have a better life amongst her mother's kin. But Ana is mocked for her silver hair, her relatives ignore her, and the maids keep quitting. Unable to do anything until she gets her first blood, Ana hides behind books and in her late mother's rose garden.
That is until the arrival of a new maid, who is determined to rekindle the relationship with her father and spark a chain of events that will throw Ana into a new world of people. People like Prince Nicoli, her half-brother, who invokes strange feelings while holding back her cousin, Mykhol, who is not solely focused on stealing her throne.
So, will Ana be able to keep her feelings a secret? Will she be able to keep her crown? Or will Ana end up losing everything?
(Note: I am planning this story to take time, and nothing starts happening for a while as both main characters begin as kids. Feelings will gradually become more defined the older they get as they better understand them. So, if you enjoy a slow burn, I hope you come along on the journey. Thank you.)
