There's an element present in ancient times that protects other elements of the earth like a coating on them.

This element is the reason Earth survived the wars of gods and demons in ancient times.

This element gradually degraded before the start of Kaliyug (the final phase of Earth) due to the breakage of the bridge between mortal and immortal realms.

But suddenly, the birth of an immortal in a mortal makes gods wait to see him grow up to become a god or beheaded by gods.
