2 weeks later...
He intensified his training for the past two weeks, increasing his regiments two folds as he could feel himself more powerful than ever. Slinging his bag, he looks at the bright blue sky before nodding to himself.
"Today's going to be a fun day."
-
"Erm..."
Midoriya looked confused when Gohru told him to meet up in Gym C, one of the few gyms that UA owned in the school grounds that anyone could book.
"Midoriya, come. We have much to discuss."
Entering the gym, Midoriya paled as he saw Denji run like his life depended on it on a treadmill. I-It seemed like he was running at 60 miles an hour, and from the looks of it, he had been running for quite some time now from the amount of sweat that he had let out on his shirt!
"Ignore him, we're going to do something different."
He subconsciously sighed in relief as he followed Gohru to an empty spot. Sitting down, he gulped as Gohru looked at him dead in the eye.
"Your Quirk... Have you tried to use it with as little power as possible?"
Ah, so that's what they were tackling about?
"Y-Yes! I tried, during the USJ Incident, but it didn't work and I busted my fingers for doing so..."?"
"Can you explain your process of trying to limit your power? From your perspective."
He hesitated for a second before answering him, explaining about All Might's way of microwaving an egg to control his Quirk. Gohru was a good person, so he would definitely help him, especially since he went out of his way to protect both himself and Asui...
"I'm going to be frank. That was a very stupid theory."
Midoriya felt as if someone had stabbed an arrow into his chest. B-But All Might said...
"How about this. Imagine your body's center as your Core. Let's use percentages to make it easier. Currently, your Core can only emit out 100% power constantly as your control in this instant sucks, no extra and nothing less.
The energy of the full 100% flows to your hand or fingers through a system, but they are too weak to handle such heavy load, making them self-destruct upon release, that's your current way.
What if you found a way to reduce the constant stream of power? Maybe drop the percentage of using your Quirk on your fingers from a full 100% to maybe 5%... Wouldn't this theory work better than an egg in a microwave?"
By the time he finished his explanation, Midoriya had a face of enlightenment as he started muttering furiously, grabbing a book from nowhere before starting to write down notes and hypothesis immediately.
Grinning at the boy's dedication, he heard Denji fall from the treadmill, making him facepalm. Now, he was going to train another brat.
-
In those two weeks, he had seen improvements to both Midoriya and Denji, the former gaining some semblance of control over One for All, and Denji gaining more stamina from the crazy regiment that he made.
Sure, Midoriya sometimes accidentally busted his arms or legs, causing them to immediately drag him to the nurse's office, but overall, everything went smoother than he thought. He and Denji even trained Midoriya in some forms of martial arts during the two weeks when he was not training his Quirk. Was it favoritism? ... Maybe.

Lisa's Quirk has got to be one of the best reconnaissance Quirks out there, it made entering such a pack school with both citizens and pro heroes so much easier without needing to go through paparazzi or fans.
Entering the waiting room of 1-A in the stadium itself, he quickly washed his disguise away with a special oil that Lisa excretes to shorten the time limit, feeling the Quirk fade away into a mud-like substance that left his face, revealing his original face.
The mud substance had a unique perk to it too, it made one's skin more hydrated, meaning he did not need to put any face products to hydrate his skin, hiring Lisa was one of the best choice that he made in the past decade, even if she was a little too addicted to Gacha and MMORPG games.
Exiting the restroom for 1-A's waiting room, he takes his gym uniform and walked to the changing room to change, thankful that no one was in the waiting room at all since he arrived at 5.31 after waking up at his normal time, 3.00. He was supposed to exercise before reaching school at 6, but he decided not to since it may harm his performance.
Looking the items that he specially requested, he keeps them in his locker for now before entering to the changing room to get dressed.

"Ah... I wanted to wear my costume..."
Ashido said with disappointment as Denji closes his locker next to her.
"Well, they want it to be fair for everybody, so..."
"I wonder what the first round's gonna be..."
Sato said worriedly as he twiddles with his thumbs.
"No matter what comes, we have no choice but to deal with it."
Tokoyami said darkly as Shoji who was standing behind nodded in agreement.
"Everyone, are you ready?!"
Iida opens the door to the waiting room, asking the question.
"We'll be entering soon!"
Upon saying that, everyone started to calm themselves down as Gohru got up from his seat and grabbed something from his locker. Tossing an item to Denji, he looks at it in confusion before he pales.
"No..."
"Yes."
"But — !"
He gave one good glare, and Denji immediately shut his mouth up before nodding resigned. He did not want to get kicked now.
"Midoriya."
Todoroki's usual cold voice rang as the class looked over at him who was walking towards Midoriya with a blank expression.
"Todoroki? What is it?"
"Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you."
"... Huh? Y-Yeah, with your Quirk and all..."
"But... All Might has his eyes on you, doesn't he?"
Midoriya's eyes widened at his statement.
"I'm not trying to pry about that, but I'm going to beat you. Along with you three."
He looked over at Bakugo, to Denji, and then to Gohru.
"Ohh... Is the top five in the class making a declaration of war?"
Kaminari said with a hint of fear as Kirishima walked over to the two urgently.
"Hey, hey, hey! Why are you picking a fight all of a sudden? Not now, man! We're about to start!"
Kirishima rests his hand on Todoroki's shoulder, only to be pushed away by him as he muttered.
"We're not here to play at being friends, you know?"
With his piece said, he walks to the exit but not before Midoriya stopped him, the whole class watching him with apt attention.
"Todoroki... I don't know what you're thinking about when you say that you'll beat me...
You're undoubtably better than me in all ways. I think you're more capable than the average person... Looking at it objectively."
"M-Midoriya, you probably shouldn't talk so negatively — "
Kirishima who was close by tried to reassure him, but Midoriya cut him.
"But! Everyone... Other class students from other courses are aiming for the top too...
I-I can't afford to fall behind, not when I'm a step closer to be a Hero!"
Looking at him with determination burning in his eyes, he looks into Todoroki's heterochromia eyes.
"I'm going for it with everything I have, too."
He said with so much determination that Todoroki nodded in satisfaction, clearly pleased that he was not going down without ease.
"Good."

"Hey, hey!"
Present Mic's voice rang as a screen fixed to the top of the stadium lit up, showing him along with Aizawa in a broadcasting room.
"Pay attention, audience! Swarm, mass media! This year's high school rodeo of adolescence that you all love, the UA Sports Festival, is about to begin!
Everybody, are you ready?!"
The crowd bursts into cheers as he continued, with Aizawa just sitting there as still as a mummy.
"It's time for the students to enter the first-year stage!"
Walking out, 1-A emerged from the stadium's depths as the audience cheered.
"The miraculous new starts who overcame enemy attacks with their hearts of steel, Hero Course, Class 1-A!"
Gohru honestly felt like the amount of people here exceeded the Martial Arts Tournament by ten folds, hearing the annoying audience's cheers for him, especially when he heard a group of them chanting his name.
"They haven't been getting as much airtime, but this class is also full of talent! Hero Course, Class 1-B!"
Then, classes after that started pouring out, not that Gohru cared about canon fodder anyways. Was he being mean? Yes, and he did not care.
WHISK!
The sound of a whip swinging on leather (Don't ask how Gohru knew that) rang aloud as a teacher on the podium silenced both the students and the crowd before speaking.
"Time for the player pledge!"
The R-Rated Hero, Midnight, a Hero that intoxicates a person to sleep, a very powerful Quirk as once you whiff the pheromones, you're instantly dropped to the ground sleeping.
He still had no idea how any logical parents do not complain that a woman dressed like that can be a teacher in a school filled with hormonal teenagers... But hey, it's a nice view.
"Representing the students is Uraraka Denji from 1-A!"
Looking at Denji, he was shocked. Denji had said nothing about this at all to him, so it was a surprised —
Ah...
Denji's face was filled with confusion, then shock, before finishing with paleness. He forgot about it, didn't he?
Sigh... This boy is very smart and diligent in training and combat, but in other things, he just doesn't care at all...
