Beyond the shadows

Magicians and other creatures are divided into light and dark. The Night Watch organization consists of light ones to observe and control the dark ones. So is the darkest Day Watch. Monitors compliance with the rules of the Inquisition where, after the ceremony, magicians turn gray (neutral).

Twilight - is the name of six parallel dimensions that exist simultaneously with our world and are connected with it. Only the Others(Mages, vampires, etc.) are able to plunge into the Twilight. Each layer looks like a different world (the number of moons in them is different, for example). The stronger the Other, the deeper he is able to dive.

Power levels of mages.

Uninitiated - Ordinary people except for the occasional time when they can see flashes of darkness (Another dimension called twilight) by the light or pick up the phone before they get a call. Accidentally magic.

The very procedure of initiation in most cases consists in the entry of the initiated into the Twilight. Quite a lot depends on the first entrance to the Twilight - in particular, the choice of the side of the force depends on what emotions (positive or negative) prevailed in the Mage during the first entrance to the Twilight. In the first case, the Mage will become Light, in the second - Dark.

Mages and other beings above the fourth (except vampires they have different levels) are able to live forever as long as there is twilight dimensions.

Most of the Others are from 7 to 4 level power.

3th level - More experience in strength than the previous level. Capable of chanting and more magic than the previous ones. Second layer of twilight is opened for them.

2th level - There is one magician, witch, healer or incubus per 1000 people. The second level of power is one in 10,000 of this beings.

Magicians capable of much, but some cannot advance further in strength without outside intervention.

Capable of traveling through twilight in two layers. They can go further by paying the sacrifice with blood and power.

The first level of strength.

Seeing the probabilities of the future, advanced magic, incredible power control. Able to walk on three layers of darkness. Able to store a large amount of energy. Many times stronger than the second level.

The number of magicians and other beings of such power on each side can be counted on two hand's

There are also magicians who are more powerful than the magicians of the first level. They are called "supreme" magicians. The power of the Supreme Magicians is about the same. Strength differs only in experience. A magician who has lived a thousand years will be able to beat a newborn supreme mage.

They walk on four layers of darkness. They can go to the fifth that keeps the secrets of humanity itself and creatures, but they are afraid of this and have never told what is there.

Capable of storing abnormal amounts of energy. They can destroy cities. Able to use magic silently without chants or incantations. Can open portals. They are able to exist outside the layers of darkness and the real world. Living forever gain experience which makes them collectively the strongest creatures on the planet. But thanks to the an ancient contract, they are bound by the rules.

And the last level. For all of humanity, the existence of three magicians has been recorded, including Merlin.

Zero magicians or Absolute magicians.

They have a magic temperature of zero. the stronger the magician, the lower the temperature, unlike ordinary people. The Absolute are capable of wearing Supreme Magicians like slippers. They can change the very concept of life and death. Able to be a threat to the twilight and the creatures spawned in it. Infinite power drawn from darkness. They can destroy the mainland. Can drain the ocean if desired. But usually, due to the manipulation of the twilight, they live limited until they break free from the shackles.

Can enter the sixth layer and break the barrier between the sixth and seventh layers of dusk. All who lived learned the secrets of the universe itself, the life of people and others, but never shared them even with loved ones.
