Chapter 3

"No, I won't take it. Mother left it to take care of the children."

Maria Linda was crying while marrying her mother. She never thought she'd be this close when she got married.

From the day she returned to his house, she worked from morning to night, cleaning the house, cooking, washing, nothing lacking. Aubrey gave her a squeeze and said:

"You don't do it anymore. Tomorrow I ask my mother to ask the housekeeper to go back to work. I'm dead now, I have to take a break to have good health."

"I'm fine. Well, tomorrow my parents are going to visit my wife and I."

"Really, let me go to pick up my father tomorrow."

"Yes, I will give you an hour's notice to my parents, so that they can stay at home for lunch tomorrow."

"Sit down, don't clean up. Let your sister-in-law clean."

Brene's words in the house were orders, and Amec smiled proudly when he heard that. Surprised eyes looked at her father-in-law for a few seconds and then quickly looked down.

"You go up to the house to drink water. Let me clean up with the children." Mother Maria Linda looked at her husband and said.

Mother Maria Linda stayed to clean with her daughter. Originally, she also knew that her daughter was not living well, just didn't think about it to this extent.

"The baby will be born in two months. I try to eat a lot to make it healthy."

"Yes."

"Let your parents see this. I'm sorry."

"It's not my fault."

"Mom... don't make me miss school, Mom."

Mother Maria Linda heard her speak and paused for a few seconds. There were tears in her eyes, but then she tried to smile: "I know."

Her parents did not dare to linger long, after sitting and playing for a few more minutes, they immediately asked permission to get up and go to the bus station to catch the bus back home.

In the following days, she still had to carry the pregnant belly to do all the housework. That day, while washing the laundry, suddenly there was a sharp pain in the abdomen. As a first time mother, she herself did not have any experience.

"What do you do without washing your clothes??? Then I'll go out with my clothes tomorrow.?" The Amec stood outside the far door and said.

"I have a stomachache, I need to rest for a while."

"I don't care. You can do whatever you want."

The Amec finished speaking and went upstairs to his room, leaving her with her stomach ache writhing downstairs. She reached for the phone, called her mother-in-law, just a long "Tut" sound. It wasn't until she called the fifth call that the other end of the line picked up, an annoyed voice sounded:

"Why are you calling so much?"

"Mom, suddenly my stomach hurts."

"Don't make excuses to avoid work. Or eat something wrong?"

"I'm not running away from work, Mom. My stomach hurts."

"Eat a lot of junk. Just lie down and it'll be over."

Mrs. Leona finished talking and hung up the phone, her husband was on a business trip, so she couldn't call to disturb her. Had to listen to her mother-in-law go to her room to rest. She lay from morning to afternoon, the pain was still throbbing, but there was no sign of abatement. A stream of warm water suddenly gushed out from under her vagina. Maria Linda worriedly called her mother-in-law, but her mother-in-law did not answer the phone, so she dialed Mina's son:

"You come and take me to the hospital. I've had a stomach ache since morning. I've been vomiting water just now."

"Your mother is crazy, she has a stomachache and needs to go to the hospital."

"You come to pick me up, there's no one at home."

Mina's son drove his motorbike quickly past her house. Water still dripped out, soaking all of Maria Linda's maternity dress.

Maria Linda sat in the back, holding her stomach in one hand, and holding her child in the other. As soon as she got to the hospital, Mina's daughter hurriedly helped her to the emergency room. Her face turned pale, and beads of sweat as big as peas leaked out more and more.
