Mysterious Guild

While Shun was musing to his own thoughts, he didn't realize as a man approached him. The man had a large body and seemed to have trouble when he passed through the gate as he had to bend his upper body.

"Are you Shun from Fairy Tail?" He asked with a monotonous tone. Unlike the voices Shun had heard, his voice seemed genuinely dead.

As he was interrupted from his thoughts, he glanced at the man and asked, "Who are you? I have sensed you following me for an entire day. What do you want with me?"

"Shun… come with me. My master wishes to have a talk with you." The man one again said in that same dead tone. He didn't even reply to Shun's first question as if he was never asked.

"Meet your master? If I refuse, what else are you going to do? Ask those 10 men in the next cabin to attack me?"

Shun almost seemed amused as he mentioned that. He had gone without a severe fight for years now.

"I have been authorized to bring you by force if necessary."

At that response, Shun suddenly felt all his amusement disappear and responded, "How boring…"

"What?" Confused as to what Shun was referring to, the man asked.

"I said you are boring. If your Guild Master really wants me to join his Guild, tell him to send someone interesting next time. You can go now."

Shun then proceeded to look in front.

The man continues to stand there and say, "Listen, you should come on your legs…"

Shun pretends to ignore him, there was no emotion on his face. He even turned towards Mira and lovingly pats her head. Her silky white hairs were really comfortable and gave him a soothing feeling…

The man let out a sigh as if he had expected it from Shun. He pulled out his sword by the re-equip magic and jumps forwards to attack Shun.

At that moment, Shun spoke with a hint of annoyance, "The fact that you are dumb enough to attack me does prove that your Guild Master lacks brains. Why would I want to meet with an idiot?"

He turns his body carefully so that Mira's head wouldn't fall off his shoulder. He raised his right hand to deflect the sword quickly, and in the next, he pointed his finger at the man and said, "This should be a lesson for you. Not to fight those people you meet for the first time without gathering information."

A blue beam of fire was released from his finger as it hits the man's right hand, which held the sword.

As the fire hits his hand, it seemed to be burning the man's hand now. It was like his hand was some flammable thing which could burn like paper.

The man's eyes turned red, probably because of the considerable pain he was experiencing. The sword fell onto the ground as he gritted his teeth and tried to hold back his scream.

"Does it hurt? Hmm… You were pretty harmless to me, so I guess I will shorten your punishment."

The man didn't know why, but those words relieved him. However, he soon found how painful that happiness was.

Shun stepped on one end of the sword and made the sword fly. He used his free hand to grab it.

"Now, to make your pain disappear."

The man had a bad feeling about this, but he couldn't do anything as Shun sliced off the man's arm.

The arm fell on the ground and continued to burn until there was nothing left, not even ashes.

As for the man… the man was crazily leaking from near his shoulder. Throwing the sword back at him, Shun said, "I can't really fight you all right now since it would wake up Mira and disturb her a lot. Be a good guy, return back to that train's cabin and explain to your comrade about how foolish it is to fight me."

The man looked at Shun and saw not a trace of remorse, but a genuine and caring smile spread over his face. For that milli-second, it even made him forget that he was the very person who sliced off his arm.

This time, the man did obey Shun's words. Honestly speaking, it wasn't the fire or his arm being slice off, which made him follow Shun's words.

It was that genuine and caring smile which immediately labelled off Shun as a dangerous person in his head.

He had heard about his powers from their Guild Master but hearing about it and experiencing it was completely different.

Shun then turns to face Mira with that same caring smile and plays with her white hairs. He was disappointed that the man ran away so quickly. It seemed that he was just a sacrificial pawn who was used to assess Shun.

Internally, Shun continued to think about this guild which had decided to approach him 'Why am I being approached now? Why not earlier? I haven't shown my power in these recent years. The only time I did show my true power was years ago when I beat Laxus to a pulp.'

As the 10 or so members of that mysterious guild went back to their seats, it proved his thoughts that the man who approached him was just a sacrificial member whose task was to assess Shun.

As he was too much into his thoughts, he didn't notice when Mira opened her eyes and continues to stare at his face with a huge blush.

She even raised her head, but Shun took no notice of it.

"All passengers, we are approaching Magnolia Station. Those passengers leaving for the Magnolia Station, please be ready! I repeat..."

As he heard the announcement, Shun turned his head towards Mira and saw that she had woken up.

She was smiling brighter than before, it seemed that the sleep rejuvenated her and relaxed her a lot, "Looks like our station is next."

"Hmm..." Shun stands up with Mira behind him.

Shun takes a look at the cabin where the members of that mysterious guild were sitting, he was unsure of what he should do.

Should he tell Mira about what had transpired and take action against them? Or should he just ignore it and act like it never happened.

After thinking for a while, he decided to keep it from Mira.

Why did he do so?

Going after those men meant, he would be even more delayed in eating Mira's heavenly food. He really couldn't wait for another second for it.

He was sure she had some sort of cooking magic, and it surpassed the god level!

He didn't even need to consider after those thoughts entered his mind, he scrapped the other idea quickly.

As the two of them returned home, they witnessed Wilson and Happy standing on the opposite end of the table, staring at each other with a stern and challenging look.

Carla was sitting on the dining table with a tired expression as she saw Wilson and Happy, seemingly arguing with each other.
