After school

I texted Xiu Ying and asked her to meet me at the park near the school. Its only been 23 minutes, why was I getting so nervous? A couple minutes later, Xiu Ying runs up too me and hugs me. She backs up, "sorry shanxi...I'm so used to greeting my other friends like that." I try to regain my structure. "It's fine." "Anyways, what'd you wanna talk about again?" I take a deep breath and grab her hands, "I liked you for a while now...even before we started talking. I think you're the prettiest girl and the sweetest in the entire world, it's fine if you don't feel the same way. I won't force you to date me, and if that's the case, I hope me confessing doesn't ruin our friendship..." Xiu Ying looks at me and opens up her mouth to speak, "Mmm...well"
