Darius Acker, a 16 year old orphan, lives in a post-apocalyptic civilisation - the Liazan Kingdom - constantly on the verge of attack from 'Them': interdimensional entities that first appeared out of unforeseen rifts following a large scale universal event in which one third of humanity was wiped out after being exposed to an occult energy that was soon termed 'Flora'. In the year 2021, humanity made a breakthrough by utilising Flora to envoke supernatural powers in the coming generation - they called them Guardians. Being bullied and ridiculed by his classmates is a natural occurence for Darius, who in a world in which supernatural powers are everything, is completely useless and had no inborn talent.
