CHAPTER THIRTY-EIGHT - Would thou fancy a cup of tea?
One week later, I was sipping tea in a stall with Asa as I sorted contentedly through a stack of letters. "What are those?" Asa asked, out of curiosity, and my grin became wider. "Their letter announcing the downfall of my business," I said proudly, and Asa tilted his head. "You have a business?" Uhm. Of sorts. "Yeah," I said, still sorting through letters. They all basically read, 'dont ever approach me again,' which was perfect. My ridiculous plan had worked, and flawlessly at that.
"Oh! But, Asa, why are you here? Doesn't Frsk Sfsn visit be direct?" I asked, and Asa shook his head. "Ah, I'm… not an angel anymore."
??
"Wut? Why? Who? Since when??" I asked, suddenly leaning forward to look Asa in the eye. "Well, I guess it was because of you." He said, also leaning forward so that our lips almost touched. I frowned. "Huh? What'd I do?"
This was not supposed to happen. Since Asa was an angel, and someone that there was a real possibility I'd have to kill.
"Well, in the realm of angels, I've always been a bit… restricted." Asa began, and I frowned even deeper. "What does that have to do with me?!"
"Well, you always seemed so wild and free… I wanted to be like you." Asa said seriously, and I jerked away. "What! No! Don't ever choose to be like me!" I shrieked, and a few people turned around to stare. "But I like you," Asa said plainly, and I froze.
"what?"
