When Jylan woke up, he was sitting right next to Sebastian, and they both were chained up. There was dried blood at the back of his head and a dull ache in his skull. Sebastian was sitting right next to him, but his hair was covering his face. Then it occurred to Jylan that, because of the shackles, he likely hadn't been able to move it out of the way, so instead he moved his hands to brush aside the stray strands. 

And then their eyes met. 

And there was nothing to be said. Jylan said, awkwardly, 

"How have you been, My Prince?" Sebastian blinked and tapped his throat. He couldn't speak, which made Jylan slightly curious about how he had let loose that waterfall of hogwash earlier, but he accepted it anyway. Sebastian soon rested his head on Jylan's shoulder and fell asleep.
