Louis stared with his mouth agape, but she didn't even care to notice the change of his emotions.
"Yes ma'am," Carlos nodded. The book was taken away and Zara proceeded with her job.
"W-why did you dispose it? I-I think you're jealous of the princess! You may be rich but you are jealous of her,"Louis protested and suddenly regretted his words when she paid no attention but kept flipping through her files. She took her phone and sent him a text message. Which he read aloud:
"I'm not a puppet to people who criticize me all their lives. I'm not an asset who'd be given away to the highest bidder in the name of marriage. I'm not a servant to my fellow human disguised as a husband. I'm not a little angel, Rascal, I'm the devil. Kindly leave, you're making it stuffy in here,"
