"No, no, this can't be real," Fang Xuan muttered in disbelief, staring at his mother's body on the ground, covered in blood.
The blood staining her robe was still red, indicating it was fresh. Fang Xuan's heart sank as he took in the sight. The amount of blood led him to assume the worst—that she might already be dead.
His hands trembled as he knelt beside her, reaching out but afraid to touch. He was gripped by denial, unable to accept the possibility of her death.
"M-Mother," he choked out, his voice breaking with sorrow.
Tears streamed down his face as he gently cradled her in his arms. But then, to his astonishment and relief, her eyes fluttered open.
"Mother," he whispered, disbelief and joy mingling in his voice. "You're alive."
Liu Ming managed a faint smile, and whispered something.
"The cellar... You want me to go to the cellars? Behind the Crates? " he asked.
"The cellar has something to save you?" he assumed, trying to grasp her meaning through her mumbles.
"Okay, I will go there and get it. Please wait for me," he promised, wasting no time as he sprinted towards their house .
In his rush, he tripped over a root sticking out of the ground and fell hard. Pain shot through his knees and hands as he hit the dirt. He lay there for a moment, stunned.
But he couldn't stay down. He knew he had to keep going. With a deep breath, he forced himself back up and continued running .
Every step was tough, but he pushed through, driven by the urgent need to save his mother.
He burst through the front door, adrenaline fueling his movements.
His frantic search led him to the cellar door. With bloodied hands, he pushed it open and step down into the darkness
In the cellar, Fang Xuan searched desperately among the stacks of crates.
Finally, he noticed something odd behind it—a large, metallic black egg-shaped object, about the size of three basketballs. It looked strange and out of place .
Driven by emotion, he approached the object. But when he tried to grab it, he realized it was locked in place by chains
'I need to break this chains first,' he thought to himself as he searched for something to cut it.
He spotted a rusty grass cutter nearby.
Normally, his frail body would struggle with such tools, but now, fueled by the thought of her mother dying, he felt surprisingly strong.
He knew time was ticking, and he had to hurry.
Fang Xuan grabbed the rusty grass cutter and started cutting through the thick chains.
Each time the metal cutter clanged against the chains, it echoed loudly in the quiet night. He focused hard, his muscles surprisingly stronger now.
The cutter was old and slow, but he didn't stop. He was determined to get inside what was within the weird object and help his mother
Sweat dripped down his face, but he kept going, fueled by sheer will.
Finally, after what felt like a long time, the last chain fell to the ground with a loud clatter.
As he tried to open the object, suddenly a strange hissing sound broke the silence.
Startled, he instinctively jumped back, but his surprise caused him to lose his balance.
With a thud, he tumbled to the ground, his heart pounding with a mix of fear and confusion.
He lay there for a moment, staring wide-eyed at the strange object, unsure of what would happen next.
Out of nowhere, the object flashed a green light that covered his body.
Thinking it might be some kind of attack, he instinctively covered his face, bracing for pain.
Surprisingly, the light moved up and down his body without causing any harm.
Then, as quickly as it appeared, the light shut off, and object began to disintegrate into fine black dust.
"No!" Fang Xuan cried out, watching helplessly as his last hope to save his mother seemed to vanish before his eyes.
Driven by desperation, he forced himself to stand, determination overriding the fear of the unknown.
But just as he got to his feet, something unexpected happened—the dust particles from the disintegrating object rushed towards him and began merging with his body.
"AHHHHHH!" He screamed in agony as he felt millions of needles piercing his skin.
The pain was unbearable, causing tears to stream down his face as he gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.
It felt like an eternity as the merging continued, each moment an excruciating torment.
He struggled to keep his eyes open .His vision started to blur, making it hard to focus.
'I... I'm sorry, Mother,' he whispered, tears flooding in. He felt overwhelmed with sadness and regret.
As darkness closed in around him, Fang Xuan's thoughts were filled with his mother and the feeling that he had let her down.
He hated himself for being weak, for being useless until the very end.
But then something snapped in his mind.
'Who had hurt her?'
'Who was the one responsible ?'
'Who took her away?'
"ARGGHH!" "Fang Xuan screamed, his voice full of rage and hatred.
Despite the pain, he pushed himself to the limit, tears of blood streaming down his face as he knelt on the ground.
"REVENGE! I NEED TO TAKE REVENGE " he shouted angrily, pounding the ground harder with each strike.
His punch grew stronger with each blow, fueled by his overwhelming anger.
The ground beneath him started to shake and tremble, causing items in the cellar to fall down.
"I'LL MAKE THEM PAY! I'LL MAKE THEM PAY! I'LL MAKE THEM PAY!" Fang Xuan gritted his teeth, his mind overwhelmed with anger and despair.
Blood burst from his gums as he reached his breaking point.
