There's no real reward or anything that comes from this except getting more pokemon, but that's what he liked about it. He could level up pokemon, by spamming, and catch pokemon just by knowing their names. Only he died from lack of sleep and he awoke in a strange room with a message displayed on a transparent window. Each character has his own perspective & emotional experiences which mould him into the kind of individual he is & explain the reasons for his particular behaviors.
