It seems like he has anger issues. "Why would we give you a free pass when we've done this shit to countless women and none of them got away unscathed" his breathing is coming out louder and faster. "Do you know how many clubs we did this shit at?" he says laughing bitterly. "Too many to count and each time there is always someone we can bribe offering them a shit tone of money. And this fine establishment is no different" he cackles. "Only this time we had more than one person to pay off so bitch spread your legs! You cost me thousands of rands!" he snarls at a sobbing Carmen. He lifts his booted foot ready to kick Carmen in the ribs and I decide it's time I make my presence known. "I wouldn't do that if I were you" I threaten. Pointing the gun at him. Shock registers on his face before it turns into an arrogant smug look. "Oh look it's big tits" he mocks. "Seth man she has a gun" Jet says nervously. "So? She is not going to shoot" he says sounding confident in his assessment and continues to unbuckle his belt. "Oh, but that's where you're wrong" I snarl and look at my friend. "Carmen babe get up," I say in a calm soft tone of voice. My friend looks at me like I've grown ten more heads. But do as I say. "Ah, ah ah you stay the hell where you are" I threaten Seth when it looks like he wants to keep Carmen in place. I take off my coat and put it on her. She's only wearing a bra and panties. Poor thing is scared shitless out of her mind. "I knew you were going to be fucking trouble!" Seth seethes speaking through clenched teeth as spit flies out of his mouth. "Yeah and I knew you were a creepy fuck the moment I've laid eyes on you" and then I pull the trigger shooting him in the kneecap. Carmen's whole body jerks at the firing sound. The asshole goes down screaming. "You shot me!" he wails "Yes, I did" and then I turn the gun on Jet who is trying to escape. I put one in his knee as well. The asshole openly cries. I walk over to Seth and then Jet and grind the front part of the gun into their wounds. They cry out in pain like little bitches. "Why don't you call your pathetic friends who took your money in helping you to beat and almost rape a defenseless woman" I sneer. I wave my phone in their faces "Remember I have video evidence of you two assaulting my friend and admitting to doing it to countless women" I spat and look around for a sharp object. I find a nail file in my bag. And set to remove the bullets from their knees. Their screams of agony are music to my ears. After removing the bullets I look around for the shell casings using my phone torch. Again years of practice cleaning up a crime scene after the Blacks did their business. I hate rapists and child molesters. "I suggest you pay your buddies extra to wash away your blood just in case the owner of the sushi place gets ideas of calling the police and the crime scene people take samples of your blood" I wave my phone in their faces. "Remember evidence" I have no idea what the owner would or wouldn't do. But putting the fear of God in them is just a bonus. By their fearful expression, I am confident that my threat has worked. Jet has his phone pressed to his ear by the time I'm done collecting my evidence.

Author's notes: I'm going, to be honest, I really don't enjoy reading slow-paced novels at all. I obviously understand their appeal, but they're just not my cup of tea. What I love reading, is a fast-paced plot with interesting things happening in each chapter. And that's what I guarantee my novel will be, and It is made for a similar demographic, obviously, though, I hope all readers enjoy it! However, even if it is fast-paced, I have no intention of making the story seem rushed. Anyway, My plan for this novel is for it to encompass a bunch of different mythologies and genres, combining all those things into one final product. One characteristic of this novel is that many things are described vividly, in my opinion. However, I did make sure to leave quite a bit up to your imagination for you to ponder upon. So this isn't the type of novel to skim read, although if that is your style, you might still enjoy it too. By the time I reach around 100 chapters, the story should be genuinely engaging and have a whole universe of its own. That much, I can promise. Thanks a lot for being with me and Magnus on this journey. Every addition to your library, comment, and vote really makes my day, so I appreciate the response. Also, regarding genres, this novel is going to have a pretty much infinite world. The towers are not the end of it, nor are they what the novel will revolve around. They are just one of the universe's countless mysteries. Our MC's story goes way beyond just climbing the Towers. This story is more about how a regular boy becomes literally unbeatable across all worlds, but at what price... This novel won't be one of those with only good things happening to the MC and him having lucky breaks left and right, many great things happen to the MC, but so many things go wrong and hurt him that he wishes at many points that nothing had ever happened. This novel isn't light-hearted, but neither is it a tragedy, although the story may be either one at select arcs and points. And the beginning won't have much sadness in it. Oh, and one last thing, regarding the chapter word count, the minimum I've set is 1,800 but you can expect many chapters to go up to even over 3,500, which is almost double my minimum and almost 3 times more than an average web novel chapter. Also, please read more than 20 chapters before you decide your opinion on this novel. The beginning might be slow but I guarantee it picks up fast! Thank you for reading! Btw there is quite a bit of romance in the story later on, but I'm not planning on making a harem, well for now anyway, that might change in the future and the tags will be adjusted accordingly.
