February 6, 2021: Firgun

Once they were out of the building, the three immediately saw four black sedans parked on the narrow road right beside Syn's apartment building. The vehicles alone didn't appear strange in such a quiet neighbourhood. But the several men in black suits, who were standing next to the cars as they displayed their uncordiality on their countenance, were nothing short of intimidating.

Still, it seemed as if Syn and Konrad weren't fazed by the view, though Raeliana was a different case. The woman hid behind her daughter, making sure that she wouldn't be seen by the men. In truth, she also didn't know why she was trying to act like she was hiding from the authorities.

Her body just moved on its own. And she couldn't help but let it be. 

Syn quickly descried her mother's demeanour so she stopped walking. She then turned to her back and glanced at Raeliana with a questioning gaze.
