The next day.

An Xiaxia got out of bed, still half asleep, and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. There was then a knock at the door.

She struggled to open her eyes a crack and saw Sheng Yize standing there in a suit. There was also a fresh red rose in his hand. He then waved at her.

"Hi."

One second, two seconds… five seconds!

An Xiaxia jumped to her feet. "Why are you here?"

"I told you I have a surprise for you, of course I should be here. Now, wash your face and come down for breakfast.

An Xiaxia quickly washed up and went out. On the table was a big breakfast.

Papa An and An Yibei gave her quizzical looks, but An Xiaxia only shook her head, indicating that she herself had no idea what was happening.

An Yibei snickered. "Fine, be affectionate all you want. Dad, come. I'm taking you to a hot springs today!"

Papa An said, "Alright. Xiaxia, have a great time with Yize."
