Director Hughes Gibson chose not to announce it yet, as there was much at stake. He feared that if it was announced publicly, someone might secretly try to interfere with Tara Summer's decision-making process and undo her concentration.
So, he decided to wait until Tara Summer had made her decision before making the announcement.
All day long, Tara Summer was considering her options. There were so many factors at play that she found it tough to make a decision.
Then, unexpectedly at four o'clock, she got a call from Clarence Simons.
Tara was surprised. Although her colleagues all knew her cell phone number, she did not expect a call from Clarence, especially at this time.
"Pack up and leave now. Take the elevator to the underground parking lot," Clarence commanded succinctly, with no concern for whether she would agree or not.
"Why?" Tara, by nature, was not one to simply follow orders without questioning. Holding her phone, she asked with a frown.
