Gao Yang was waiting for the observer to move into a position where he could take his shot, while also paying attention to the street below the window for any shootable targets. He had been waiting for several minutes, but no opportunity had presented itself.
There were street barricades of the Mokadi Faction on the street, made of sandbags or broken cars, which provided decent protection. Many buildings had also been directly converted into fortifications, manned by members of the Mokadi Faction. Although they had fortifications, their will to fight was too weak, crumbling at the first sign of combat. Most importantly, those from the Mokadi Faction looked like raggedy soldiers with not a single person resembling a boss in sight.
