"Ten years had passed. He suddenly missed home and his mother. His father passed away when he was a young boy. So, he lived together with his mother. When he embarked on his return trip home, he was guilt-ridden over his mother. Back in the beginning when he was a little boy all covered in scales, his mother scolded him after finding out that it was caused by his consumption of poison. On the other hand, she deeply regretted having scolded him so severely. Nonetheless, he didn't understand at the time. He blamed everyone but himself. He then left her for over ten years. He had been an unfilial son which he regretted very much. He swore that he would give his mother a good life when he returned. After displaying his abilities to the girl, he would take his mother along when he returned to the academy so she could spend the rest of her life happily."
