Multiversal Connection

**Inside the Warehouse**

The trio stood amidst the dimly lit warehouse, the faint smell of dust and metal lingering in the air.

America glanced around, her eyes narrowing as she noted the damage. "Looks like a fight went down here not too long ago," she observed.

"Yeah," Gwen said casually while leaning against a nearby wall. "Yesterday, we fought two giant lizards here. No big deal."

America turned to her with a face of are you kidding me, "Two... giant lizards?"

Gwen shrugged. "It's New York. Stuff happens."

America gave her a look of disbelief before glancing at Peter, who had been uncharacteristically quiet.

Peter is staring at Gwen and she did the same, and America raised an eyebrow.

Meanwhile, Peter was deep in mental conversation with Gwen.

"You promised me you wouldn't bond with her, don't you dare forget that." Gwen reminded him sharply.

"I won't, Gwen," Peter reassured her. "I just need to use my abilities to analyze her powers. That's it. No bonding required."

He knew the stakes. Bonding with America might give him a more precise grasp of her multiverse-traveling abilities, but it would also create a connection between them.

Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, who is tracking America down knows about him. He also becomes a target for her and he didn't want that to happen.

Instead, Peter planned to use a low-level application of his Predator ability, combined with Great Sage, to examine America's powers without consuming or bonding with her.

The drawback was that any power he gained this way would be a weaker version of the original, but for now, it was their safest option.

America waved a hand in front of Peter's face. "Uh, are you two just gonna stand there and stare at each other all day?"

Peter snapped back to reality, chuckling awkwardly. "Sorry, we were talking telepathically."

Gwen walked over and looped her arm around Peter's while smirking. "Because we're connected. Soulmates, you know?"

America rolled her eyes. "Relax. I'm not here to steal your boyfriend. You're safe."

Gwen shot her a playful look before letting go of Peter's arm.

Peter turned to America, his expression turning serious. "Alright. Let's do this. This place is isolated, so it's perfect for what we need."

America nodded, taking a deep breath. "What do I need to do?"

"Just stand still and relax," Peter instructed. "I'll handle the rest."

Peter stepped forward as America braced herself. He extended his right hand with his palm facing her.

From his hand, a black tentacle emerged, writhing in the air before slowly moving toward America. She flinched slightly but stood her ground as her eyes fixed on the dark tendril approaching her.

Gwen watched silently, her arms crossed but her gaze wary.

The tentacle drew closer and as soon as the black tentacle made contact with America, Peter focused his mind and called upon Great Sage.

> Activating Predator on the lowest level...

> New ability acquired...

> Skill: Multiversal Portal Creation is obtained.

A surge of knowledge rushed into Peter's mind, detailing how to use this newfound ability.

The portals America created could now be replicated by him, but with a key difference—he would have to expend his own energy to open pathways across the multiverse. While she can open many portals she wanted without draining herself.

The tentacle retracted back into his hand as Peter exhaled, watching America gasp and stumble to her knees.

"America!" Gwen rushed to her side, placing a steadying hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?"

America nodded weakly and her breath is uneven. "Yeah... I'm fine. Just... a bit drained."

Peter stepped forward. "That's normal. It's a side effect of what I did. Your body just needs a little time to recover."

America raised an eyebrow. "A little time and what? Magic?"

Peter grinned as he extended his hand, and in an instant, a hot slice of pizza and a slice of cake materialized in his palm. "How about some food?"

Gwen blinked in surprise. "Wait, where did that come from?"

Peter smirked. "The food we ordered at the café. I stored it inside me before we left. Anything I store doesn't go bad or lose its freshness."

America stared at him with a face that is a mix of disbelief and mild horror. "That's... amazing and disgusting at the same time."

"Hey, it's practical!" Peter said defensively.

"Practical or not, I've kind of lost my appetite after hearing that," America replied while grimacing.

Gwen rolled her eyes, grabbed the pizza slice, her mask opened just on her lower face allowing her to eat and she took a big bite. "Suit yourself. More for us."

Peter laughed and joined her, grabbing the cake. They both started eating while America watched and her stomach began to growl in betrayal. She sighed, realizing she couldn't resist for long, and reluctantly took the pizza Peter offered.

"This is ridiculous," she muttered between bites.

"Welcome to Team Spider," Gwen said with a smirk, taking another bite of her slice.

America glanced between the two of them, shaking her head. "You two are something else."

Peter leaned back, wiping his hands. "And you'll fit right in. Now that we've got some energy, let's start working on getting you to control your powers."

America nodded, determination flickering in her eyes. "Alright. Let's do it."

A few moments Later...

Peter stood on the side, watching America focus on creating a portal. Her hands glowed faintly as she concentrated and sweat is forming on her brow.

"You've got this," Peter said encouragingly. "Remember, it's about feeling the connection, not forcing it. Think of the multiverse like a web, and you're just pulling on the right thread."

America nodded and her face is scrunched in determination. She clenched her fist, and a star-shaped portal began to form in front of her. It flickered for a moment before stabilizing.

"Yes!" Gwen cheered from the sidelines and began clapping her hands.

Peter gave America a thumbs up. "Nice work! Now, try holding it steady for at least ten seconds."

America focused harder, and the portal shimmered but held. After a few moments, she released her energy, and the portal closed. She stumbled slightly but caught herself, a wide grin spreading across her face.

"That's amazing!" Gwen exclaimed, walking over to them.

"We're getting there," Peter said, folding his arms. "You're picking this up quicker than I expected."

They took a short break, sitting on the edge of the rooftop. Gwen leaned toward America, her curiosity piqued. "So, what other worlds have you been to? Any cool ones?"

America smiled, taking a sip of water Peter handed her. "Oh, tons. I met this one version of Doctor Strange who tried to help me figure out my powers. He was nice, but let's just say... things got a little messy. I accidentally opened a portal while training with him and ended up here."

Gwen laughed. "Sounds like a wild ride. Did you meet any other heroes?"

America nodded. "Yeah, but every world is different. Some heroes are cool, some are... not. But honestly, you two are some of the best I've met so far."

Peter chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Glad we could make the list."

After their break, they resumed training. America now managed to create portals with a bit more ease, although it still required a lot of focus.

She practiced creating portals to specific places Peter described, growing more confident with each success.

When they finally wrapped up, America was practically glowing with excitement. She ran to Peter and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, Spider-Man! I couldn't have done this without you."

Peter smiled, the black mask on his face melting away to reveal his true identity. "It's Peter. Peter Parker."

America pulled back, her eyes wide with surprise. "Wait... why are you telling me this?"

Peter shrugged. "Because we're friends, right? I trust you."

Gwen who is standing nearby also removed her mask, revealing her face. "And I'm Gwen Stacy. Nice to officially meet you."

America looked between them and began grinning. "Wow... you two really are something else. Thanks for trusting me."

Their lighthearted moment was cut short as a glowing portal suddenly opened nearby. All three of them jumped to their feet, tensing as they prepared for whatever was coming.

From the portal, two bright orange energy lines shot out, embedding themselves in the ground like anchors. A figure emerged, leaping through the portal with a fluid, acrobatic motion.

The man who landed before them was unlike any one they had seen. His suit was sleek and futuristic, predominantly blue with red web-like lines running across his chest and arms. A large red spider emblem adorned his chest, and his mask featured sharp, angular eyes.

The figure straightened and looked at the three of them.

Peter's eyes widened in recognition. "...Oh, fuck."

(A/N: what do you guys think.. America won't be a host and won't be in harem but will be a good friend for them.

As for harem, I am thinking of adding Wanda, Jean and Jane foster (Mighty Thor). I am also thinking of adding Storm or Death, What do you guys think.
