The battlefield was a storm of primal energy and chaos. On one side loomed Set, the Elder God known as the Serpent, towering with malice. Around him, his loyal army of reptiles stirred, their forms radiating power and bloodlust. The three grotesque hybrids at the forefront the twisted fusion of dinosaur and snake in humanoid form stood as Set's vanguard. Their glowing eyes burned with unholy intent, their claws digging into the earth as they awaited the arrival of their prey.
From the horizon came Ender, the God of Lightning, riding his spectral mount Sleipnir. The skeletal horse, with its eight powerful legs, strode forward with otherworldly grace, each step shaking the ground like a harbinger of doom. Ender's Netherite armor gleamed in the flickering light of the storm above, arcs of lightning spiraling around him, creating a radiant halo of power.
The air was heavy, charged with electricity and an ominous tension. The storm above seemed to answer Ender's fury, thunder rolling like a battle drum and lightning flashing as if eager to leap at his command.
As Ender approached, the hybrids could wait no longer. With a guttural roar that echoed across the battlefield, they charged, massive forms bounding forward with terrifying speed. Their movements were feral and unnatural, a mix of calculated predation and mindless aggression.
But before they could even close the gap, the heavens seemed to unleash their wrath. A massive bolt of lightning struck one hybrid square in the chest, stopping it mid-charge. The creature's roar was cut short as its body convulsed, its grotesque form engulfed in a blinding light before collapsing to the ground in a smoking heap.
The other two hybrids hesitated for a fraction of a second, their primal instincts recoiling at the sheer power radiating from Ender. But Set's influence was too strong; they surged forward once more.
The second hybrid leaped high into the air, claws outstretched to tear Ender from Sleipnir's back. Ender's eyes narrowed. With a sharp motion, he raised his free hand, and another bolt of lightning answered his call. The energy struck the hybrid mid-air, blasting it backward with such force that it collided with a stone pillar, shattering the structure and crushing the creature beneath the rubble.
The third hybrid, undeterred, came low, skittering across the ground with unnatural speed. Its serpentine tail whipped toward Sleipnir's legs, attempting to topple the mount. But before it could come close a bolt of lightning struck its tail as Sleipnir stomped on the tail, causing the reptile to cry in pain.
Ender seized the moment. A Netherite Sword appeared in his hand and with a single swing, crackling with energy, he cleaved through the hybrid's tail. The creature howled in agony, but before it could retaliate, Ender thrust his sword forward, impaling its heart in one decisive strike. The hybrid collapsed, its body sizzling as it burned due to the Aspect of Fire (Fire Aspect)
From his vantage point at the temple gates, Set watched the destruction of his creations. His serpentine face twisted into a snarl, his clawed hands clenching in barely contained fury. "You think these petty tricks will save you, puny god?" he hissed, his voice carrying across the battlefield. "You've only just begun to understand the depths of my power!"
Ender dismounted Sleipnir and ordered his mount to go back to Overworld, his eyes fixed on Set with unshakable determination. He stepped forward, the storm swirling around him like a living entity. Each footstep cracked with static, and the very ground seemed to hum with anticipation.
"Your days are numbered Set after today, you won't live to set your parasitic claws on Earth," Ender said, his voice steady but laced with fury. "Let's see if your chaos can stand against the storm of life."
With that, the storm above reached a crescendo, bolts of lightning striking the battlefield in rapid succession, lighting up the darkness like a thousand torches. Set's reptiles hissed and roared, rallying around their master as he stepped forward, his towering form radiating dark, chaotic energy.
The two gods faced each other, the storm and the chaos colliding in a clash that would decide not just the fate of Gaia, but the future of life itself.
"Big words for someone who has just ascended, a normal God can't even compare to me, an Elder God much less a newly ascended one," Set sneered "You for sure took down my creations rather easily but.."
Ender remained silent, his eyes locked on Set. Sparks danced along the edges of his sword, the storm responding to his rising power.
Set's smirk widened. Without warning, he thrust his hand forward, summoning a swirling mass of dark green energy. The magical projectile was chaotic, its edges pulsating with corrosive power. It streaked toward Ender like a meteor, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.
Ender's instincts flared. In a blur of motion, he raised his glaive and spun it in a defensive arc. The energy coursing through the weapon clashed with Set's magic, creating a deafening explosion that sent shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.
The impact forced Ender back a step, his boots digging into the scorched earth to hold his ground. The air around him shimmered with residual static as the dark energy dissipated.
"Is that it, Serpent?" Ender's voice cut through the chaos, cold and steady. "For all your boasting, your power feels... hollow."
Set snarled, his pride stung. "You'll regret that." He raised both arms, summoning a storm of his own. Dark clouds swirled overhead, thick and suffocating, blotting out the light of Ender's storm. From these clouds, jagged shards of poisonous energy began raining down, each one capable of corroding even the strongest defenses.
Ender reacted swiftly, slamming his leg on the ground. A dome of lightning erupted around him, the bolts forming a crackling barrier that intercepted Set's deadly projectiles. The storm intensified, each collision lighting up the battlefield like a violent fireworks display.
But the Set wasn't finished. His tail lashed out, the massive appendage slicing through the air with terrifying speed. Ender sidestepped just in time, the tail smashing into the earth where he had stood, leaving a deep crater, an ominous green energy tainting the earth there, Gaia had warned him about Set's tale capable of absorbing power whoever it struck.
"You want power, Set?" Ender said, his voice rising as he surged forward. "Let me show you what real power feels like."
With a thrust of his sword, Ender channeled the storm's fury into a focused bolt of lightning that streaked toward Set. The Elder God raised a scaled arm to block, but the energy slammed into him with enough force to drive him back several paces. Smoke rose from his smoldering scales, but Set's laughter rang out.
"Not bad for a newborn," Set said, his voice dripping with mockery. "But it will take more than that to harm me."
Undeterred, Ender pressed the attack. He closed the distance between them in a flash, his sword spinning in a deadly arc. Set met the weapon with his claws, sparks flying as the two clashed in a flurry of attacks. The Elder God's strength was immense, each strike threatening to overwhelm Ender's defenses, but the God of Lightning moved with precision, parrying and countering with electrified strikes.
The ground beneath them cracked and splintered as their battle raged. Each swing of Set's claws left gouges in the earth, while Ender's lightning lit up the darkness, carving glowing fissures into the ground. The storm above seemed to mirror their struggle, with thunder roaring like a war cry and lightning striking in rapid succession.
Set lunged, his massive tail sweeping toward Ender again. This time, Ender created wings, like an eagle he leaped into the air, propelling himself higher than humanly possible. From above, he unleashed a barrage of lightning bolts, each one slamming into Set with the force of a collapsing mountain.
Set roared in frustration, his movements slowing under the relentless assault. But even as he faltered, his aura of chaos grew darker, more oppressive. "You'll regret challenging me, Ender!" he bellowed, his voice shaking the battlefield.
As Set began to gather power for a devastating counterattack, Ender landed, his glaive crackling with anticipation. The battle was far from over, but Ender's resolve burned brighter than ever. This wasn't just a fight for survival, it was a fight for Gaia, for Earth, and for the future of life itself.
As the battlefield raged with elemental fury, Ender held his sword aloft, but then he reached for his true weapon, a weapon forged through his mastery of lightning and imbued with divinity: a trident. Crafted with Netherite and infused with Overworld's energy, the trident pulsed with living electricity, its three prongs glowing like stars in a stormy sky.
The weapon responded to Ender's very well, much like Thor's hammer, Mjölnir due to the Enchantments and Runes.
As Set prepared to unleash his chaotic attack, Ender hurled the trident into the sky. It shot upward, piercing through the dark storm clouds summoned by Set, and became a conduit for nature's wrath. Bolts of lightning converged on the weapon, charging it with devastating energy.
With a crack of thunder, the trident descended like a divine spear, streaking toward Set with blinding speed. The Elder God barely had time to react. He raised a barrier of chaotic energy, but the sheer force of the charged trident shattered it like glass. The weapon struck Set's shoulder, searing his scales and sending him staggering back with a roar of pain.
"Your chaos can't stand against the purity of the storm!" Ender shouted, his voice echoing across the battlefield.
The trident, true to its enchantment, did not remain embedded in Set. It ripped free, defying gravity, and soared back to Ender's outstretched hand. The weapon hummed with power, eager for another strike.
Set snarled, clutching his wounded shoulder. "A clever trick," he hissed, his voice laced with venom. "But tricks alone won't save you!"
The Elder God lashed out with his tail, and dark tendrils of chaos surged from his body, aiming to ensnare Ender. But Ender moved with practiced precision, calling upon the trident's power. He twirled the weapon in his hand, channeling lightning through its prongs, and unleashed a wave of energy that disintegrated the tendrils before they could reach him.
The trident became a blur in Ender's hands as he combined melee strikes with ranged throws, each attack accompanied by the Lightning's wrath. When hurled, the trident always returned, arcing through the air with an almost playful loyalty before landing firmly in Ender's grip.
Set growled, his frustration growing. The trident's unpredictable movements and the devastating power of the lightning strikes were beginning to wear him down. His hybrids, once a menacing force, had been reduced to ashes, and now the Elder God himself was being pushed to his limits.
"You think this little weapon can help you, boy?" Set spat, his chaotic aura intensifying. "Let's see if your little weapon can match the power of an Elder God unleashed!"
But Ender's confidence didn't waver. He gripped the trident tightly, the storm around him growing even fiercer. The Overworld energy coursing through the weapon resonated with his resolve, amplifying his power.
"This isn't just a weapon," Ender said, lightning crackling along the trident's shaft. "It's a promise, to protect Gaia, to protect Earth, and to destroy you."
With that, Ender surged forward, the trident poised for a final clash that would decide the fate of the world.
But Set's reptilian scales were proving to be a problem even with the might of Netherite, Elder God's scales only cracked a little.
"Wish I had enough time to master Pierce and Sever."
As the storm raged and the air grew thick with tension, Ender stood amidst the chaos, his trident humming with Overworld's energy. But now, he needed something faster, sharper, an attack that could pierce through Set's defenses with surgical precision. He closed his eyes for a brief moment, channeling the storm into his body. Sparks of electricity danced along his arms, crackling with an intensity that made the air itself shudder.
It all happened in a moment.
