Chapter 183

Evening!

Drew was actually feeling a little uneasy.

Although she had been teasing Martin, her primary intention was always to get him flustered (though she had never succeeded), never seriously considering taking things further. She was in New Zealand specifically to seize this opportunity, and now that it was finally here, she figured she didn't need to sacrifice her body to get what she wanted.

But Martin was undeniably very handsome. No, he was strikingly handsome.

As she thought about Martin's face, Drew couldn't help but smile.

Yes, she had a deep disdain for men because of her childhood experiences. But oddly enough, she didn't feel that way about Martin.

Wasn't he a man?

Drew chuckled at herself for a moment, imagining what Martin would think if he knew she was thinking about him like this—shocked? Angry? Or maybe he'd try to prove himself right there and then?

Giggle.

"Sis, what's so funny?"

"Yeah, you're smiling like that—what's going on?"

"He's probably thinking something bad."

Drew turned around and saw the three girls standing there, two of them frowning, and one with a more friendly expression.

She hugged Lindsay, ruffling her little head, and grinned. "Our little Lindsay is so cute, not like these two troublemakers. They're always so fierce."

"My little Lindsay, wanna know why I'm smiling like this?"

She waited for an answer but didn't hear anything. Drew looked down and realized Lindsay was in the middle of struggling with her chest.

"Oh, oops! I forgot about my... 'human assets' for a second!" Drew laughed awkwardly and quickly loosened her grip.

Lindsay blushed. "Let go, I'm holding on for dear life!"

Jessica snapped, "You're trying to kill her!"

Scarlett added, "Bad girl!"

Drew just ignored their comments and turned back to Lindsay. "Sis, I'm smiling because Martin probably wants to sleep with me tonight. Hahahaha..."

"Shameless!" Jessica interrupted. "Is that true?"

Lindsay, still pretending to be fierce, pointed at Drew and said, "No way!"

"Really?" Drew smirked. "So, you're not interested? What if I told you that Martin's got some supernatural power, and maybe I can't even control him? What if... Jessica and Scarlett joined in, and the four of us tried to get him to take his clothes off?"

"Bichi! Shameless!"

The three girls, still innocent and untouched by men, couldn't handle Drew's bold words. They quickly turned and ran off, their faces flushed red.

Lindsay also tried to escape, but Drew was quick to pull her back into a hug.

"Oh, looks like our little Lindsay is on board. Let's make it two against one then!"

"No! No comparison!" Lindsay finally broke free and dashed off, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

Drew touched her chin thoughtfully. "Hmm, looks like Martin hasn't made his move on them yet. Is there a limit to what he can handle? What should I do? I want him now. Was he joking about coming tonight? Maybe he'll really show up."

Of course, Martin wouldn't break his promise.

Since he didn't have time to win her over during the day, he'd do it tonight.

Martin was certain that Drew didn't feel anything for him simply because he was too busy. It wasn't because he wasn't charming enough—he was a succubus, after all.

Using magic to seduce her? Sure, it was an option, but what would be the fun in that? Succubi preferred the challenge of earning their "collections."

Later that Evening, Hotel Room

Jessica, Lindsay, and Scarlett were all crammed into the same room. (To avoid any misunderstandings, none of them wanted to sleep alone or with strangers.)

Drew had to negotiate with the hotel to add an extra bed to one of the standard rooms.

At the moment, the three girls were gathered by the door, with the tallest, Jessica, standing in the center, peeking through the peephole.

"How's it going? Is he here?" Scarlett jumped anxiously, her chest bouncing.

Jessica pulled away from the peephole, her face lighting up with a grin. "He didn't show up at all! That woman's a liar."

It turned out the girls had been spying on Drew's room, hoping to catch her with Martin.

Scarlett rushed over to the peephole, groaning inwardly at how high it was placed. "Why do they always put the peephole at this height? Ugh, what a joke!"

And yet, Scarlett, only 16, was already feeling a little overshadowed by 14-year-old Lindsay, who had grown taller than her.

But then, Scarlett stopped complaining. She saw Martin at the door, ringing the bell.

"Wait, Martin's here? I can't believe it!" Scarlett gasped.

"What?" Jessica moved aside to take a look. Sure enough, Martin was standing at Drew's door.

The door opened, and Drew—wearing a very revealing outfit—greeted him. Jessica felt an angry pang in her chest. How could Drew be so bold?

"What's happening? What's going on?" Scarlett demanded.

"Martin's inside!" Jessica announced with a tight smile.

"Oh, no!" Scarlett's face twisted in frustration.

Lindsay, standing off to the side, was calm, a small smile playing on her lips. She wasn't worried at all about Martin entering Drew's room.

"What's with you, Lindsay?" Scarlett asked. "Aren't you worried?"

Lindsay smiled and shrugged. "Why worry? We've got another sister now. I think we could form Martin's girl gang in Hollywood, and no one would dare mess with us."

The image of a fierce girl gang—dressed in suits, holding guns and rocket launchers, dominating the streets—popped into Scarlett and Jessica's heads.

They both shook their heads, dismissing the bizarre thought, and Jessica said, "How about we go knock on the door and stop Drew?"

Scarlett hesitated. "No, Martin would be mad at us."

"Then what do we do?"

"We could... set off a fire alarm?"

"Are you insane? You want to get arrested?" Jessica snapped.

"Well, we could always eavesdrop," Lindsay suggested with a mischievous glint in her eye.

"Good idea!" Scarlett said, her eyes lighting up.

"I agree!" Jessica added.

"But how do we eavesdrop?" Scarlett asked.

"We can't hear anything through the door. The hallway's too exposed."

"I remember—Sister Drew's assistant, Katie, lives next door! Her room shares a bathroom with Drew's. Katie went to Los Angeles yesterday, and I've got her keycard."

Scarlett and Jessica exchanged puzzled glances. Why did it feel like Lindsay had already planned all this out?
