"Morning I guess."

'My fifth day in this world and I'm already over level 50. I got the same quest from yesterday. I guess it'll be staying there as a daily thing.'

Klyde got off his bed to adjusted it before sitting on the edge and looking at the screen again.

"I also have a new quest. Beat a basic dungeon by today. I guess I can buy those from the shop. The reward is 10 skill points. I guess I can do it, not like I have a choice. I'll start with magic training thought 'cause boy, am I lacking in the magic department."

With that, Klyde left to go outside the town.

3 hours passed while Klyde was training his magic skills to create more powerful abilities and potentially increase his magic power. It was very clear that someone was using magic by the scorch marks and craters everywhere, thought it was worth it in his eyes. He also learned basic water magic so that he can put out the fires and not burn the place.

He was able to "perfect" his old abilities according to him. Though something was bugging him on his training. He would keep on hearing large howls in the forest. He was even tempted to burn down the place.

"I guess this is enough magic training. Now how much has my magic power grown…"

"2 points in three hours. I'm not sure if that's fast or slow. I guess I should try out my abilities before going out and hunting some monsters."

Klyde aimed his one on a boulder nearby and started by firing a small fireball. The fireball left a burn mark on the rock but nothing else.

Second, he fired a larger fireball about the size of his hand to the same rock. This time it exploded on impact and the rock crumbled to pieces.

He scanned the area for more targets but found nothing. Most of the boulders are in the forest and he destroyed the rest when training. Leaving him with no other options.

"There isn't many targets here to I guess going to the forest won't hurt. I need gold anyways."

He entered the forest and started wondering around, looking for targets. He remembered the two girls he saw yesterday and started wondering how they are.

The forest felt a bit quiet and abandoned, the only thing he could hear was his footsteps , the occasional crunch of a leaf or twig, and those god damned howls.

"Should I go that dark forest? No, I'll most certainly die there. Maybe I should focus on agility more. Reflexes are useful."

He suddenly heard a sharp, metallic clang. He looked at the direction it was coming from and heard another clang. Before Klyde could think about it, his legs were already taking him to source of the sound.

'I'm not the hero type but here I am. It better not be two monsters."

As he got closer to the sound he heard heavy footsteps, grunting, thuds and heavy breathing. When he arrived he saw a male elf adventurer fighting a golem with a basic steel sword. Parts of his clothes were covered in blood and he was bleeding from his forehead.

Klyde started forming flame bow, loaded with one, low charged arrow.

He fired the arrow at golem and it struck it's chest, which broke through the steal and struck it's core, killing it and leaving the core cracked and exposed. A core. he did not expected.

'Last time I fought that maniac of a golem, it didn't have a core. This one's metal also looks lighter. Was it because it was a mutated one or something. Oh well.'

The elf's eyes widen in complete shock as he fell on his butt. The golem that almost killed him got one shot. He then remembered that fire arrows don't just come out of nowhere and that someone must have fired it.

He slowly turned to the direction of were the arrow came from as see's Klyde approaching him slowly with his flame bow still in his hand.

The elf looked a bit afraid of the figure coming after him. No adventures helps another adventurer for free. Or that's what he knew anyways. The serious expression on Klyde's face didn't help with his worry.

The elf upon closer inspection realised who the adventurer was. Klyde Tolan. The hottie adventurer everyone has been talking about.

As Klyde stood in front of him he bowed down in fear of upsetting him. He wasn't sure what kind of person Klyde is. What he did know what that he's taken out monsters stronger than him and that he severed an adventurer's arm and nearly killed another.

"Thank you, sir! For saving me! You can take the materials from the golem if you wish, sir!" Orion said, his voice a bit shaky.

Klyde turned his head to the side, confused by his his behaviour.

"Get up." Klyde said, thought his voice was a bit deeper and a bit menacing, which he did unintentionally.

This made the Orion worry a bit more but he stood up and fixed his golden hair, letting out a "Yes, sir!" as he did.

"Don't you not know you're not supposed to be here?" Klyde asked, keeping the same tone.

Orion didn't know what he meant. The only thing he thought that would make sense was that the area was for him and him only to hunt monsters.

"Sorry, sir! I didn't know this was your area! I will leave your area ASAP, sir!"

"Hm? What? I don't own this place. Didn't you hear there's a deadly monster here that's like level 200 or something. Xavier is looking for it and for the meantime, you should not be hunting monsters."

"Oh, um, sorry. I know I should be out here. I'm struggling with rent so I needed the money."

"Even so, you can't just hunt for golem's as a 28. Try Frost Wolves or something. You can keep those materials thought."

"Thanks, sir." Orion smiles a little.

"Lend me your sword, would you?"

"Okay…"

Orion Handed Klyde his sword without hesitation. Klyde took the sword and put it in his inventory.

He opened his shop menu and sold the sword for 100G, now having a total of 450G.

He then went to the melee weapons section and scrolled until he found a decent sounding sword.

He ignored the screen and took a good look at the sword before handing it to Orion.

"Your new sword. This once should be able to do damage to golems. But that doesn't mean you're stronger, so keep on training okay?"

"Yes, sir!" Orion answered, smiling. He's worries had been calmed by his generosity and he didn't even question how his sword disappeared and where the new one came from.

"Also, for the love of God, buy armour please."

"I'll make sure to buy it when I have money, sir!."

Klyde raised his eyebrow but then shrugged it off. He said goodbye to Orion before leaving. Orion happily waved back as he collected the materials and left the forest.
