Chapter 42: Are heroes needed?

"Damn, you guys look cool."

Ambrose disappears from his spot. In an instant, he dispatches a vast number of beast men. He unleashes punches and kicks that shake the earth.

Calanthe shoots at energy beams descending onto the earth and returns fire as best as she can. She thinks to herself as she destroy another ship.

'Thank goodness we took a vial. This would have been brutal if we didn't.'

She notes, however, that the city is being battered by beast men. A large number of bodies are present and keep piling up. She fights as hard as she can but it seems as though they are endless.

Roderick then suddenly drops from the sky and slams hard into the ground. He raises a hand and the earth listens to his will. Waves of rock and debris smash down on his enemies and protect civilians from harm.

His body is then coated in rock and he charges into the dense horde of beast men.
