Archie's words kept swirling around in my head, and as I drank my cup of brandy, I considered his suggestion.

Find a way to win Edwina back. That would have been something easy to do if it was about anyone else.

But this was Edwina.

My gorgeous ex wife. 

Edwina who wanted nothing to do with me.

Edwina who I regretted letting out off my hands five years ago. 

"And how exactly, do you think I should win her back? Write her poems? Take her out on dates? Send her flowers?" I asked my best friend without turning to look at him, my eyes fixed on Edwina. 

I felt Archie's shrug, but I still didn't turn to face him. 

Edwina's arm was resting against Orion's now, and the man had a smug smile on his face as he listened to her. Every once in a while, Harriet chipped in on her conversation, and my hands curled into fists.
