Steven groaned, his head throbbing as he slowly regained consciousness. The world around him felt... wrong. He blinked, trying to focus on the familiar sight of his apartment ceiling, but something was off. Everything looked sharper, brighter. There was a strange weight hanging from his back and—wait, was his hair... floating?
He shot up, feeling the long, flowing locks brushing against his back. "What the fuck?"
His voice sounded wrong, higher and more... ethereal. That's when he saw it—his reflection in the nearby mirror. The familiar figure of Steven Brown was gone, replaced by a pale woman with impossibly long white hair, moon-like eyes, and elaborate robes. He instantly recognized the figure.
"Kaguya?! I turned into Kaguya Otsutsuki?! What the fuck, This isnt real, this isnt real—" he leapt to his feet in a panic, but the sudden motion sent him crashing into the coffee table, knocking over a pile of manga and half-empty soda cans. "No, no, no, this can't be real."
He scrambled to the mirror, staring at the face of the Kaguya Otsutsuki, A Character he hated so much. His hands—her hands—reached up to touch the smooth, unfamiliar skin of his face. "I've got A fucking third eye! This is wrong in so many ways!" His fingers traced the slitted eye on his forehead, now open and staring back at him in a haunting red glow.
His heart pounded in his chest—or wherever the hell Kaguya's heart was. He took a deep breath, only to feel something horribly missing.
"Wait... wait a second..." His eyes widened in horror. "Where is it?" He grabbed at his crotch in desperation, only to confirm his worst fear.
It was gone.
"No... NO WAY!" He stumbled backward, eyes darting around the room in disbelief. "I lost my freaking... dick?! This is—this is insane!"
His voice, still hauntingly soft and feminine, only fueled the rising panic inside him. "I can't believe this. How am I supposed to live like this? What am I even supposed to do?!"
A sudden thought hit him. He looked down at his hands—Kaguya's hands. "Wait a minute… if I'm Kaguya, Do I have her powers?"
In a rush of adrenaline, Steven began fantasizing about what he could do with Kaguya's abilities. He snapped his fingers, expecting to feel chakra surging through him like in the anime. For a second, nothing happened, and his hope wavered.
But then, he felt a surge of energy coursing through his body. His reflection shimmered, and for a split second, the space around him distorted. The mirror rattled, and small items in his apartment started to float. The remote, the manga, even a half-eaten sandwich began to rise into the air.
"Yes!" Steven cackled. "I can use her powers! This is insane! I could—wait—"
He paused, his thoughts spiraling into dangerous territory. "If I wanted, I could warp space... I could destroy entire dimensions. Hell, I could control the entire planet if I wanted to!"
His mind raced through every wild fantasy he'd ever had. He could go anywhere, do anything. He was invincible. He could become a God, a living God.
He slumped down onto the couch, accidentally sending the remote flying into the wall with another burst of Kaguya's power. "How am I supposed to live like this?" he muttered. "I'm not even me anymore... I'm a badly written villain from an anime, and not even one I like."
His head hung in his hands—delicate, pale hands that didn't belong to him. "This is insane. I didn't even get isekai'd. I'm still in the real world, and now I look like a space alien goddess." He laughed bitterly, the absurdity of it all hitting him like a freight train.
"What am I supposed to do now? Go to the grocery store looking like this? Call my boss I can't work because I transformed into a anime Girl?"
Steven sat in silence, letting the chaos of the situation sink in. All the power in the world, but he was still stuck here. Still in his messy living room. Still living the same mundane life... just in Kaguya Otsutsuki's body.
He leaned back, staring blankly at the ceiling. "Maybe I should've just deleted that notification."
