[5] Memories, Dream, and Purpose

After a delicious bowl of ramen, some deep conversation, and playful teasing, Hiratsuka bid farewell to Akira. The night had grown late, and she needed to get some rest before teaching her classes in the morning.

Their connection had soared to new heights, but it felt like they had hit an invisible barrier. It was their first day meeting each other, and while both sensed an undeniable attraction, they understood that it wasn't quite enough to break through the walls between them.

Hiratsuka wasn't in a hurry; she felt she had found her future husband in this magical place called the Otherworld restaurant. The pressure from her parents—who constantly nag her to bring home a man—had lifted from her shoulders.

Still, she wanted to know more about Akira before confessing her feelings and inviting him to meet her parents. She also yearned to understand love better; she often felt like an idiot when it came to matters of the heart.

This was perhaps her first and last chance to explore this area of her life. With her thirties looming just a few years away, she felt the weight of time pressing down on her.

Women often worry about age, especially when it comes to fertility; the older you get, the less likely you are to conceive due to a decline in egg quality.

She smiled helplessly but sweetly, feeling hopeful as she thought of Akira—her sun, her hope, and possibly her future husband. Yes, she was daydreaming shamelessly about how Akira could one day be the father of her children.

Usually, she would fret over age differences in relationships. But this time, she brushed aside those concerns; after all, Akira had mentioned he was only twenty years old.

But really? Twenty years old was just a number on paper. She knew Akira was no ordinary human—he had his own world!

At the same time, she felt relieved that he was humble enough to say she could always see him as just a man who happened to be more powerful than others perceived him to be.

As they sat together on the nearby sofa, Hiratsuka couldn't help but notice something impressive beneath his pants. He had made his own bowl of ramen after realizing he was hungry too. She thought he was such a silly goofball—one of the many things she loved about him.

Maybe she was already falling for him more deeply than she realized. They had even talked about 'harem' earlier in the evening.

Yes, 'harem'

Initially, Hiratsuka frowned when Akira brought it up; it made her restless to think that he might have grand dreams like those protagonists in manga or anime from her world. But what he said next caught her off guard: he wanted a big family because he lived alone in this world.

He gazed at her with honest eyes and apologized for potentially disappointing her before they had even taken their relationship to the next level.

Of course, Hiratsuka felt dissatisfied; she had grown up as a traditional woman who believed in being "the one" for her husband and vice versa. Yet as she reflected on it, she questioned whether she could truly make Akira happy while keeping him safe from other women.

She remembered how easily she had fallen under his charm just hours ago. What about other women? Surely they would feel the same pull toward him—his charm was simply too intoxicating.

He was tall, muscular, gentle, and good-looking—the kind of man whose smile and soft gaze could hypnotize anyone. And then there was that moment when she accidentally brushed against his thigh; her mind had been clouded by the sweet atmosphere between them.

She didn't know much about intimacy but recalled how her college classmates would often discuss their boyfriends' sizes and stamina. At that time, she'd given them disgusted looks and called them "sluts" for thinking so inappropriately at their age.

She had always considered herself traditional—someone who would think about these things only when marriage was on the horizon. However, this mindset nearly doomed her; without taking risks, she might have ended up as an old virgin or married off to a man chosen by her family.

All in all, Hiratsuka smiled softly at the thought of Akira as long as he treated all his partners fairly and didn't neglect her in the future.

This made Akira smile back at her before pulling Hiratsuka into a warm embrace. "Thank you," he whispered into her ear.

In that moment, Hiratsuka felt inspired to become a better woman and wife for Akira. Even though she was okay with sharing him, she wanted to be his favorite one.

Her natural competitiveness—long extinguished—rekindled like a volcano ready to erupt. She would show everyone that she would be their main wife in their future together.

...

After seeing Hiratsuka wave at him with a beautiful smile, she returned to her world, holding the standard 'Blue Velvet Card' in her hand. He looks at the wall clock and says it is already 11 p.m.

"It is already late." He smiled softly before flipping the open sign in the next blue velvet door, which indicated that his restaurant was already closed.

He stretched his body before going outside to enjoy the cold wind and the scenery of the vast sea.

"I never thought on my first day that I would meet so many interesting people."

He was overjoyed—perhaps too happy, as he previously stated—because this had been his dream in his previous life.

He now had two women in love with him, and he had to accept their feelings and learn how to support a large family in the future.

In the first place, he was not a hypocrite when he claimed to be a good person. He, too, had a big dream, just like the other average main characters in their series who have the tag Harem.

As he previously explained to Hiratsuka, he wants a large family so that he does not feel lonely in this world.

What is the point of this limitless space if he does not fill it with his own family?

He was relieved that Hiratsuka was an understandable woman, but he also felt sorry for her because he knew it deep down in her heart. That woman wishes to have a nice, harmonious family with him alone, with no woman as a sister.

Akira was a huge sinful egoist man, and he could not fulfill that wish because he wanted to give a warm home to other women who truly loved him and wanted to spend their lives with him forever.

"Of course they would argue. That is why, as head of the family, my role is to shut them down and show them my love."

He had just realized he had a problem: limitless libido and stamina.

There is already an anaconda-sized snake between his legs that can overwhelm any woman during their love session.

He feels sorry if he only has one wife; isn't he going to kill her in exhaustion while he was fine alone with boundless energy?

Others may say he was shameless, and he was not going to be angry; it was a fact as a person who claimed to have had a harem. Are they required not to die as Mummy and to ensure all of her women were satisfied in bed?

Others had problems, but not Akira.

After daydreaming for a while, he decides to end his day by taking a warm shower, changing into comfortable pajamas, and falling into his bed, which he customized and made of the softest material, causing him to fall asleep in a matter of seconds.

In his sleep he never expected something tremendous to happen to him. He had a dream or, to be likely, remembered an memory where he can see a clearly younger version of himself that shows an idiotic expression while watching something on his laptop.

"Ah, I remember this..."

He doesn't know why he forgot about these memories of him or where his dream to build a place or his restaurant right now was from.

The huge reason why he, as an ordinary student, was so dreamy about wanting to learn about culinary was because of that woman.

The woman that has been shown on her laptop, that woman who seems so happily while eating every food or meal that she has.

That woman who idiotically makes an effort to be the perfect king for her own country.

Yes, that woman who took his pure heart because of how beautiful she was being displayed by those companies that don't recognize the word budget.

That woman so handsomely shouts her own name, noble phantasm, that has been animated to the maximum by the animation company.

She was the main reason why Akira wanted to learn about culinary, where he foolishly learned that he could make women happy if he could give them nice, warm, delicious food.

She was really a sinful woman for him to make him fall in love with her even though he knew that she wasn't real.

"Heh. Why I suddenly dreaming this?" Akira smiles helplessly and looks at himself, who foolishly falls into a two-dimensional character because of that woman.

"My King... Is it because of you that I have received this second chance at life? to fulfill my desire to be the one who brings you happiness." He was smiling like an idiot right now.

"If it is true... I hope I had the opportunity to connect with you, my king... I would like to show off my culinary skills to you and receive your compliments on the food I prepared especially for you."

Akira cannot help but laugh bitterly, hoping that he and that woman will meet someday.

"....No."

Remembering he had an ability right now, an omnipotent one. Why would he sit hoplessly while waiting that woman would come to him one day?

Why doesn't he take initiative to visit her and give her own better ending and happiness?

To hell with fate, he just wants to aid his king and fulfill that foolish dream of hers to lead and provide prosperity to her beloved country.

"Forgive my selfishness, my king, but I would come to you as soon as possible."

Akira cannot help but smile as he remembers his true purpose: to create his own utopia.

The utopia he creates stems from his own desire to live with the woman who stole his heart.

The wheel of FATE has been turned, and he...

Would be the one who controls the mechanism of it.
