Whispers of Dawn

As sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains, casting a soft glow across the room, he stirred from his dreams. The warmth of three bodies enveloped him: the black-haired woman nestled against his left arm, the blonde one curled up on his right, and the auburn-haired beauty sprawled across his chest. Their gentle breaths created a rhythm that soothed his mind.

He contemplated waking them, but the peaceful moment was too precious to disturb after that freakish night. Instead, he let his fingers trace the contours of the auburn-haired woman's shoulder, feeling her warmth seep into him.

He ultimately decided to take advantage of this time and go check on the Jealous witch with trust issues.

There she was, Qetsiyah, standing by a grand tree, her gaze lost in contemplation. I couldn't resist sneaking up behind her, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"What are you thinking, dear?" I whispered softly.

She sighed, breaking free from my embrace, turning to face me with a serious expression. "Just contemplating my decisions about you."

"Is that why you're denying resurrection all this time?" I asked, searching her eyes for answers.

It had been 114 years since we first met while I modified the Hunter's curse. Her affection for me had reached nine hearts, yet every time I asked her to return to the world, she resolutely denied it.

I had spent years building this connection, appearing in her dreams nightly. Each time she sent me back forcefully, I returned, undeterred, until she eventually relented. My otherworldly charm had slowly begun to erase Silas's influence over her, but despite our kisses, I had yet to earn any points from the system. It seemed Silas hadn't even shared a kiss with her, as she was clueless about a kiss, perhaps being too dedicated to Amara.

System did not give me First kiss rewards though just like with Aurora when I was using dream walk on her ,anything that happens in Dream walk Doesn't count.

"What exactly are you thinking about me? Is it my handsomeness?" I teased, trying to lighten the mood.

She chuckled softly, but her demeanour remained firm. "I cannot recall any love or resentment towards Silas. It's your doing, right?"

Her words caught me off guard. The Lover's Aura I possessed had a profound effect on her.

[Lover's Aura <Max >: Any woman who lays eyes on your visage loses any interest in any other man and can only think of you. You can now choose whom the Aura affects.]

It seemed that with her resentment for Silas fading, her memories of him had also dulled; he was now a mere passerby in her life.

"Will you clear a doubt in my head?" she asked, hope shining in her eyes.

"Ask away; I will try my best," I replied, bracing myself.

"I sometimes think, what is the difference between you and Silas? He loved that... Amara, while you love them."

My mind went blank. I wasn't prepared for this question. As I struggled to find the right words, I noticed her stepping away, disappointment etched on her face.

Seeing my silence, Qetsiyah's expression fell. Tears began to flow down her cheeks as she turned to walk away. My heart ached at the sight.

In a moment of instinct, I pulled her back into a warm embrace, whispering in her ear, "There is a very big difference between me and him. Do you want to hear it?"

"Mm-hmm," she nodded, still refusing to turn around.

"The difference is I love you. Silas loved Amara, and not you. I have laid all bare in front of you, nothing hidden. I love you, and I also love them."

"I will not betray you, nor will I betray them like Silas did. I will love you with the best of my abilities."

As I spoke, I felt a shift in the air around us.

[Congratulations! For getting the affection of Qetsiyah to 10 hearts. Rewards: 200,000 LP]

The notification faded into the background; the moment was too precious to focus on rewards.

Qetsiyah turned around, a smile breaking through her tears. Words were unnecessary as we embraced in silence.

Scene shifts:

I woke up coming out of Dream walk , looking at the clock It's almost noon, No one was present in bed , Likely woke up as I went out of the room I heard noises From kitchen.

As I approached Kitchen I saw the three Girls cooking lunch and by the trio I mean Evelyn doing the cooking part, while Rebekah and Aurora are pretending to cook like fetching the things Evelyn needs , while Aurora is passable as she could make a decent omelette at most while Rebekah is miserable at it.

They look like mother cooking while two 5 year old's trying to help but screw it up instead.

"Good morning, dear," the trio chimed in unison when they noticed me standing in the doorway.

Evelyn shot me a knowing smile. "Lunch will be ready soon."

Rebekah and Aurora took on the role of garnish artists, sprinkling coriander and mint over the dish with exaggerated focus. Evelyn turned off the stove, letting the food rest, before directing her "assistants" to fetch the chilled lassi from the fridge. They scurried off like kids eager to prove their usefulness.

We soon sat down to eat. The biryani was a masterpiece, its rich aroma matched by an explosion of flavors in every bite. Evelyn had truly outdone herself this time.

"I did well giving her all those recipe books," I thought, savoring each mouthful. She'd made it her mission to learn every dish in existence, and I was more than happy to be her personal taste tester.

Rebekah and Aurora, despite their questionable contributions, beamed with pride at having "helped." Watching them bask in their small victory, I couldn't help but laugh softly. For the first time in a long while, everything felt perfect.
