Chapter 29: Preparation

The glowing sun cast shadows on the buildings of the demonic academy, and the cadets were beginning to wake up from their slumber.

Ryoung also woke up today in the early morning; he took a bath and donned his new clothes, sewn by his subordinate.

While he was admiring his body in the mirror a shout came from outside of his room.

"Team leader, come down!"

Listening to the melodious voice Ryoung answered,

"Wait a minute, I am coming."

The voice was of a girl that he spent most of his time with; he started to see her as a friend.

Ryoung left the admiring process of his body for later, he walked slowly towards the door.

Opening it he saw Mun ku standing there while waiting for him.

He extended his hands and gestured for Mun Ku to walk.

"Did you do your breakfast?"

Asked Ryoung while walking beside her, she casually replied while smiling.

"No, I just woke up. What about you?"

Ryoung didn't notice her smile and answered,

"Same here, Let's go to the cafeteria."

They started to talk about Ryoung's subordinates while going towards the cafeteria.

"Did you know Beak Yun Ji has started to sew another cloth for you?"

Ryoung nodded and began to think about this particular subordinate.

She was from a high-ranking clan named the 'Dark Staff clan'.

She was also the one who approached Ryoung first and talked about being in his group.

In Ryoung's eyes, she was just more fanatic than others while respecting him to the utmost.

He has seen her sewing or doing his chores and even going to the extent of bringing food made from her mother's hand.

"Let her do; as always, I appreciate everything, made especially for me."

"By the way, what about her training? Besides her, you were the sole girl in our group."

Ryoung decided to not talk about some matters and shifted the conversation to a safer route.

"Well, after you have given her the 'breathing technique' and the 'simple sword art', she has shown some considerable growth."

Said Mun Ku; while the cafeteria was in front of them, entering the cafeteria, Ryoung ordered breakfast for both of them.

Sitting at a corner table, he started to talk seriously.

"Mun Ku I'm going into seclusion."

As the words were uttered, Mun ku was shocked; she had already considered Ryoung as someone with power equal to her grandfather.

"Why, you are already strong enough to pass the 5th test."

Seeing the disbelief and confusion on her face Ryoung began to tell her the power structure.

"What do you know about Realms of Murim world?"

Asked Ryoung while listening to him Mun Ku began to think about the things she knows.

"There are 8 Realms in Murim; is it not right?"

Asked Mun Ku while answering his question. Ryoung began to think about something and then spoke.

"Indeed, as you know, those 8 include the last realm till enlightened grandmaster. "

Ryoung became silent after speaking, While Mun Ku suddenly asked so as not to miss the chance.

"So I'm right, or there are more after enlightened grandmasters that are the top 5 strongest of Murim."

Mun ku's face has a wide grin; she was indeed right in her mind till Ryoung spoke.

"Well, there are more realms after the enlightened grandmaster. "

"As for the 5 strongest, that title has nothing to do with sole strength; they also include big feats done by the martial artists."

Ryoung dropped a bomb on her the mind; from childhood she had known that an enlightened grandmaster was the highest realm anyone could achieve.

There was also another realm after nature realm but Ryoung thought of not telling her.

After absorbing the information, she lifted her head and saw Ryoung eating with a smile on his face.

She knew that whenever they both came to the cafeteria together, Ryoung would praise the food continuously.

'He really like the food of cafeteria.'

Thought Mun ku, Seeing Ryoung eating with satisfaction on his face she also started to devour the food.

After finishing their breakfast Ryoung decided to copy all the martial arts remaining in the library.

He has already copied till 3rd floor, only 4th and 5th were remaining.

They were quietly walking on the road that goes towards their dorms, suddenly Ryoung asked.

"Do you want to check the library?"

Listening to him Mun Ku smiled and said,

"I didn't have passed the fourth test, You go alone, I'll tell Beak Yun Ji to prepare your nutrition pill."

Ryoung nodded and continued to walk with her; well he could travel anywhere very fast because of his fast speed and movement technique.

But Ryoung chose to walk with her till her dorm. As for copying the martial arts, he can do that after escorting her.

After reaching their destination Ryoung waved his hands and disappeared from her line of sight.

'Sigh, and now the gap between us will grow even more.'

Thought Mun ku while heading to her room, she has to prepare the nutrition pills, as for letting Beak Yun Ji prepare it.

Nah, she shook her head. While thinking,

'As Ryoung has said, let her sew his clothes and I'll do the preparation.'

While she started to pack things, Ryoung has appeared infront of the precious library of the academy.

Walking to the instructor sitting on the chair behind the table, Ryoung showed his golden medallion.

As he took the medallion in his hands, the eyes of every cadet present there was caught on his shiny medal.

Even the instructor stood and bowed to him.

"You can browse till the last floor, Clan Master Ryoung."

Ryoung nodded and headed directly to the 4th floor, reaching there he saw fewer books than the previous floor.

Scanning the floor he found many different martial art manuals, they were from diverse places.

Like there was DIANGCANG SECT'S FLOWING SWORD TECHNIQUE and much more diversity in their type like KUNLUN SECT'S GREAT CLEAR MOVEMENT TECHNIQUE.

Like wise there was also martial arts from Mount Hua sect and other force of evil.

After scanning the floor Ryoung came to a conclusion that this floor contained many important martial arts from various forces of murim.

It was all done by a Sword demon that had established the academy 500 years ago.

Nonetheless Ryoung has nothing to do with the history of it's establishment so he started to copy all the martial arts like a book worm.

But at so fast pace that normal cadets couldn't even see a word.

After copying all the martial arts he moved to the moonlight Sapphire.

Reaching there he noticed a different thing from other floor.

The engraving was more deep any other floor and it was also more messy.

Actually Ryoung has not only copied heavenly demonic sword art but also a version of sword demon that tried to cancel the technique with his own sword moves.

And that same type of sword moves were all over the Sapphire, it was not looking like any manual at all.

Focusing with much more intense observation rate he instantly immersed himself in zone.

Time seemed to be slower than before in his surroundings, the slashes were now opened at his eyes like he was seeing it in a slower mode of a youtube video.

After observing the Sapphire for nealry ten minutes, his eyes regained their initial red colors.

The whole knowledge of those two sword arts filled his mind.

Ryoung sat there in lotus position, preparing to absorb the influx of knowledge in his head.

Before whenever he copied any martial art his brain could definitely handle it with ease like it was nothing more than a trivial thing.

But this 4th formation and it's opposing sword art left by sword demon gave his mind a slight heaviness.

After 2 minutes Ryoung stood and walked to the staircase leading for the final floor.

Reaching there he saw fewer books than 4th floor.

Even then anything he set his sight was a immense martial art.

Without wasting any time Ryoung started to copy the martial arts.

Starting with the six clans and moving on he even saw a movement technique named 'wind god arts'.

Such grand name was indeed suited for it, after absorbing this art Ryoung could feel, that after incorporating it in his heavenly steps he can achieve a feat comparable to teleportation in radius of 1 kilometers.

He was indeed shocked, because the increase was of 500 meters.

Even if it looks like not much but after considering Ryoung's prowess that is proficient grandmaster, it was indeed an amazing art.

Nonetheless after copying everything he moved to the last Sapphire.

Reaching the back of it he saw nothing. Yes right he saw absolutely nothing.

There were no sword slashes, nor there were any opposing sword moves from sword demon.

After focusing for some time Ryoung's eyes lit up, there was indeed a sword art.

But it was so small and concentrated at a point that it was nearly impossible to see with bare eyes.

Ryoung frowned at the sight, even after activation of his Absolute talent he couldn't perceive the last formation.

It simply looked like a hole made from human fingers. Not finding anything on the back of the Sapphire.

Ryoung decided to read the words written in front of the Sapphire, there he saw a magnificent line.

Suddenly his eyes flashed even deeper red than it was and many sword moves were beginning to form in his mind.

After standing there for nearly 15 minutes he has indeed copied the last formation.

It has 24 movements connecting to one at the last.

It was indeed a magnificent art, while Ryoung has also achieved something similar to this in the sealed demon cave.

But his technique was a mixture of 1st and 2nd formation, even then it was not perfect like this last formation.

Satisfied with his gains, Ryoung slowly descended the stairs while humming his favourite song.

Reaching the ground floor he saw many cadets swarming in the library,

'What are they doing here at once, whatever it has nothing to do with me.'

Thought Ryoung while smiling, but how wrong was he?

These cadets were gathered here only to see him, someone has spread the rumours that Ryoung has passed the 5th test and has gone to the last floor of the library.

Nonetheless, Ryoung only focused on his path; his face was very brighter than before entering.

'What prowess will I reach after consuming these incredible martial arts.'

Thought Ryoung while a grin formed on his face, he was already considering how to achieve his dreams.

What were his dreams? Well, the most important was to find his mom, whom he believed was alive.

His other dream was to reveal the function of his system, which was previously in the form of a pendant.

Unknown to Ryoung, it was already active, but because of saving his life once, it had gone dormant and needed some condition to become active once more.

One of that condition were to reach the strength to manipulate the void.

Even aside from that, Ryoung's other dream was to travel the world while learning everything he could.

While he was preparing to go into seclusion in another place, a beautiful lady was smiling at the scene unfolding in front of her.
