Chapter 4: Colonel Fury

The reason why Emma was even been able to hear his heartbeat was thanks to Tsunade's perception, something that's very overlooked.

As a Senju, direct descendants of Hashirama and Tobirama, she pretty much inherited all their abilities but just at a weaker level of course.

Plus, Tsunade is a ninja, she can easily tell if someone is lying or pretending to be calm.

Emma acted according to the memory of Tsunade; she first let her Chakra escape, covering the whole building.

If it was in the Naruto world, she wouldn't have to do this because Chakra is everywhere, but not in this world; after covering the building, she was surprised to find that the whole hospital was full of armed people.

Emma acted as if she was surprised: "What's happening? Don't you see that weird green thing like air enveloping the building? Quick let's evacuate all the people inside."

After saying this, she quickly left her bed and lifted the two of them before they could react, appearing panicked, but inside, she was thinking something.

'With this level of acting skill, I should consider entering the entertainment industry; maybe I will win the Oscar next year.'

In fact, there was a reason she did this: when she let her Chakra envelop the building, she didn't expect to be detected; it became troublesome.

One of them comes a little forward: "Ms Emma, please calm down; it's detected that you are very likely to just awaken your power; it's recommended to stay calm."

As if to reassure her, he made some kind of hand gestures, and all the people there bent down their weapons, no longer pointing them towards her.

Emma continued playing the game: "What in Odin's beard is happening right here? Can someone explain it to me?"

Seeing that she no longer looked dangerous, a man emerged from the group, and all of them gave him some space as if he was a superior; he took some kind of document as if to represent his identity and said: "Hello, Soldier Emma, I'm Colonel Nick Fury."

Before, when she was using her perceptive ability, she didn't see it clearly; she just heard someone saying Sir, isn't it the S.H.I.E.L.D. director Fury? What is he doing here?

Inside the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters in New York, a black man with his eye patch was sitting in front of a computer doing his busy work as usual when a message popped up in one of the many computers in the office.

[Agent Hill requests to see the director, Level 7 Alert.]

As the director, not everyone can enter his office; there are so many security systems, and this is just one of them.

Depending on the situation, he would either click [Yes] and allow her to enter or click [No]; according to the reason one requested to see him, seeing it's because of an Alert and a Level 7, it should be a big deal, he clicked [Yes].

After receiving the permission, Maria Hill entered his office with her usual tense and stern face with a file in her hand that she handed to Fury.

After he took a quick glance, she said: "This is concerning a new intel we received about a newly awakened mutant, an Alpha level or a possible Omega one."

"The person in question is Emma Müller, a soldier; a Mutant fight happened where she was; when she was saving people, she was hit by a car thrown by one of the mutants."

"Although she is currently unconscious with many severe injuries, she is releasing some kind of unidentified energy, but the intensity has been judged as a Level 8 energy."

By the time she gave him a resume, Fury had also finished reading the documents, and his only thought was that an opportunity had appeared.

Lately, mutants have been more and more rampant; the government has come up with a plan: The Mutant Registration Act.

It would force mutants to publicly reveal their identities and abilities. Unfortunately, the mutant's situation has been divided into three clubs.

Professor X and his X-Men, Magneto and his Brotherhood, and finally the Hellfire Club.

Two of these three forces resisted the act, while the other one didn't resist but didn't support it either, just playing neutral.
