Hogwarts, Please Graduate Soon, Ch 60.5

"How on earth did you think to sneak into the library?" Wayne crossed his arms, puzzled.

"Isn't it because you mentioned that those spells are kept in the restricted section? That's why we came here," Fred sighed, pulling a bulging pouch out of his robe's pocket and handing it to Wayne. "But your timing is perfect."

"This is the profit from selling quills: 300 Galleons in total. We kept thirty Galleons for ourselves; the rest, 270 Galleons, is all yours."

"Take it quickly; we don't dare keep so much money in the dormitory, afraid something might happen."

"Sold that quickly?"

Wayne was shocked to take the pouch. "In just two days, you sold one hundred fifty?"

George wore a proud grin, "We are the Weasley twins! Handing this off to us is easy."

Fred smirked, "Even Percy got duped by us into giving up a chunk of his allowance for two quills."

"Does Percy really have that much pocket money?"

"He's a model student, top of the year. His mom increases his allowance considerably with the rewards she gives him."

"Though it's probably running low now; Percy's face was as dark as a troll's at the time when he realized it."

He smiled.

The two of them, exchanging banter, also managed to make Wayne laugh.

These two really are exemplary merchants, even leaving no room for their own brother.

They informed Wayne that he would bring out some more quills tomorrow, and he pointed out a few books that would be helpful to them. Wayne set off to find his own goals.

At 1 AM, the twins couldn't stay awake any longer and bid Wayne farewell before leaving the library.

Another hour passed, and Wayne decided to leave as well.

He had copied the contents of several books onto parchment with his quill, which he would take home to study at his leisure.

Unfortunately, the books here had been enchanted, allowing for direct replication with a copying spell. Otherwise, just one spell could have easily handled it.

However, for Wayne, this wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

Because the books couldn't be easily copied, his quills had become quite popular. For example, Percy would spend several galleons on a book, but with a single quill, he could copy over a dozen books—that's why Wayne gritted his teeth and bought two.

When he returned to the dormitory, his roommates were sound asleep, showing no signs of waking up. As usual, Wayne cast a silencing charm to block out Toby's snoring and lay down on his bed.

His points had once again risen to over two thousand, and it had only been three or four days since his last draw.

Wayne didn't plan to save them; he made up his mind and directly went for a ten-draw.

The first ten draws yielded only one purple card, but it was a good reward—a purple alchemy experience book.

After using it, a plethora of alchemical experiments appeared in his mind, as if he had experienced them firsthand.

It took a full ten minutes for these images to fade, with the knowledge seamlessly integrating into his brain.

Some of the problems that had once troubled him now had clear solutions, and Wayne felt a thrill of excitement. His luck today seemed to be quite good.

The second ten-draw confirmed that his fortune was indeed favorable; this time, he got two purple cards.

The first was an advanced spell for the "Stop Spell," which put an end to all magic.

The second one was a skill from another world.
