Chapter 109: Forest Training Camp: The Target Is Him

The thruster system in the mechanical armor overloaded and broke. The Iron Mountain Crush had destroyed the muscular man's defense, but the guy was already sent over the cliff, so the damage was worth it.

"Kouta, hurry and come with me!"

Midoriya Izuku immediately turned to run towards Kouta. It was too dangerous outside, and he needed to take the kid back to the training camp right away.

"be... behind!!"

Kouta, sitting on the ground, looked terrified, trembling and pointing at something behind Midoriya. His vigilance rose immediately, and he turned around.

A muscular hand, exposed with muscle fibers, grabbed onto the cliff edge. With a powerful press, the muscular man's huge body leaped up and landed heavily on the ground, showing a bloodthirsty smile.

"Kid, you're pretty strong!"

Midoriya Izuku stared silently at the muscular man in front of him, realizing that his earlier full-strength strike hadn't finished him off. This was bad.

"Kouta, get out of here!" 

Facing the enemy, Midoriya signaled with his hand behind him for Kouta to leave. He had to block this guy. 

"Be... be careful..." 

Kouta, feeling scared and timid, could only run away without looking back, leaving a worried word for Midoriya. 

"Yeah..." 

Once Kouta left, Midoriya felt relieved. Now, he needed to focus on holding off the enemy.

"The kid ran away? Doesn't matter. You can just stay and play with me, kid!" 

The muscular man, his gaze fixed on Midoriya Izuku, had a savage, bloodthirsty grin. He hadn't had a good chance to release his anger in a while.

His muscle fibers covered his body like tank armor, and with a powerful leap, he charged at Midoriya, causing the ground to crack from his force.

The thrusters on his back were useless, and his right arm's armor was broken. Analyzing what he could still use, Midoriya Izuku reacted.

Facing the muscular man about to land on him, Midoriya only did one thing.

As if giving up resistance, he fell straight backward, his body going limp toward the ground. The muscular man missed with his right hand.

Though the muscular man didn't understand why the kid did that, he wasn't going to miss such a good opportunity. He stomped his foot hard down on the falling Midoriya Izuku.

With deadly danger approaching, Midoriya didn't even blink. Every move was just as he had planned. Just before his back touched the ground, he aimed his left arm at the floor and activated the arm thrusters.

With his right arm's armor and thruster broken and his back thrusters burnt out, the only thing he could use for propulsion was his left arm. Midoriya Izuku had calculated everything.

In an instant, the muscular man's foot slammed down, creating a huge crater in the ground, but Midoriya Izuku had already moved out of the way, avoiding the attack.

He rolled to lessen the impact and then stood up quickly. The muscular man glared at him with a vicious grin.

"You sneaky little brat, you're more slippery than a rat!"

"I'm not running away. This was all part of the plan."

Midoriya replied coldly as the mechanisms on his back activated. Fine silver wires rose from the ground, reflecting the faint light in the night. The area around the muscular man was soon filled with wires that tightly bound his lower body.

"Damn it, what is this stuff!?"

The muscular man tried to rip the wires off his legs but found them incredibly tough. Despite his immense strength, he couldn't break them.

They were steel wires. Midoriya Izuku had installed a steel wire launcher on his back. The moment he fell, he set up the wires beneath him. The darkness of the night hid them from the enemy, and when the muscular man stepped into the trap, it was too late. As he used his left arm thrusters to escape, he also set up the wire trap. This was Midoriya Izuku's tactic.

"It's not over yet..."

Midoriya muttered as more steel wires shot toward the muscular man's upper body and quickly wrapped around him, completely entangling him like a big bundle.

The muscular man looked up to see the kid in mechanical armor spraying out steel wires that wrapped around him. He stopped what he was doing and looked at Midoriya Izuku with a puzzled expression.

"You don't think a little trick like this can tie me up, do you?"

As soon as the muscular man finished speaking, his muscles swelled up, like an inflated balloon, and the wires wrapped around him snapped like guitar strings.

"Of course not..."

Midoriya Izuku whispered as he prepared for his final move.

"Rooted"

The metal pillars extending from the back of the mechanical armor's legs dug into the ground, anchoring Midoriya Izuku firmly in place like a tree.

"Steel Wire Technique: Throw"

The mechanical armor on his left arm activated for its final mission, and all the power sources in the armor were pumped into it, overloading the system!

Midoriya Izuku grabbed all the steel wires tangled around the muscle-bound man with his left hand, then used the overloaded power of the armor to throw him into the air.

"You little brat!!"

"Goodbye!"

Rooted firmly in the ground, Midoriya Izuku stood tall like a poplar tree. With the full force of the overloaded left arm, he threw the muscle man off the ground, aiming for the rock wall!

The immense power from the overloaded armor sent the muscle-bound man crashing into the rock wall. But this was just the beginning!

Using the last burst of energy, Midoriya Izuku swung his left arm with all his strength, sending the steel wires flying. This was his full power! The man, now deeply embedded in the rock wall, caused rocks to collapse, and the mountain side was left in ruins.

In the end, as the mechanical armor emitted black smoke, Midoriya Izuku silently watched the scene before him. The muscle-bound man had been used like a plow, with the steel wires dragging him across the mountainside, carving a trench more than ten meters long. This was all Midoriya Izuku could do with all his might.

"Thank you, partner..."

Removing the smoking mechanical armor from his body, Midoriya Izuku looked at the aftermath. The armor had completed its mission, successfully defeating the enemy.

He gazed at the thick gray smoke rising from the rocks that had collapsed, and the large figure of the muscle man lying motionless in the rubble. The enemy was likely knocked out and wouldn't be getting up anytime soon.

"We need to get back..."

The attack had come too suddenly. After dealing with the enemy, Midoriya Izuku knew he had to gather with everyone immediately. Without the mechanical armor, his combat strength was severely reduced.

As he turned and rushed back the way he came, Midoriya Izuku suddenly heard the sound of something slicing through the air behind him. His heart raced with alarm, and he quickly rolled to the side to dodge.

The ground had a large crater from Todoroki's attack, and there, the muscle-bound man, with his fists wrapped in muscle fibers and blood dripping from his head, glared at Midoriya Izuku with a bloodthirsty look.

"So, it's you, huh?"

"Doesn't matter now. I just want to kill you!!"

The muscle-bound man's murderous intent surged. Midoriya Izuku stayed fully alert, knowing the situation had turned dire!

On the other side, the battle outside the forest ended surprisingly smoothly, mainly because Shinso Hitoshi and Monoma Neito had escaped from the forest.

The two enemies fighting Mandalay and the tiger were completely unprepared when Shinso used his "First Meeting Kill" technique. If they couldn't see through his "Brainwashing" Quirk at first glance, the battle with Shinso was already over.

Once the enemies were controlled by his "Brainwashing," Shinso immediately used his Quirk to interrogate them, asking what the "League of Villains" was after.

"Catch... Steel Wire Death God... Catch... Midoriya Izuku..."
